So I removed all three injector lines from the injectors, I ran the key and cranked it, each line had a very small amount (what I would call a dribble) coming out of it, the line closest to the dash board seemed to me to have more of a flow. I don't know how much fuel should be coming out of those lines but I would think it should be more than that.

$184.00 x3 for injectors. Pumpguy do you rebuild injectors?

I have been thinking this could be the time for a 1526, I have wanted one for a while, checked with the dealer today, he put a high price on my trade for a 2018 1526. I'm thinking hard on it, I like the features on that little tractor. The GC works for me but, a little bigger with auto throttle, three range hydro and little more HP and ground clearance would be even better, SSQA is also very useful to me. This could be the time I put my wrenches away.

Are you saying That EACH injector costs 184.00?? NOT in South Carolina.. lol
I figure IF your inj. pump is good & w/ 200.00 in parts, {rebuilt injectors & supply pump} you'll have a good running tractor.??
But its your call..
Lemme know if you wanna get the injectors done.

When I did a search there was only a couple of places I could even find the injectors and the cost was $184 each. I did not call the dealer to find out what they get for them.

I'm going to make a decision on a new tractor by morning, If I decide not to trade it, I will likely want to replace/rebuild the injectors because I think I am at the end of the line of the process of elimination on this issue, Injector leak down in one or more injectors would be my best guess at this point. I have never dug this far into a diesel fuel engine before, I have learned some along the way, I did have a 6.0 powerstroke diesel a few years back and learned a few things from that truck, mostly what I learned was to NEVER buy another International diesel again.. LOL

AAHHH.. the old PowerPuke.. They are a bad engine.. BUT there ARE people who love them..
I was sitting at a stop lite one day & this nice "looking" truck pulls up along side of me.. rattle, rattle, rattle..
I had to roll up my window just to here the radio. Lol
The lite turns green & all of a sudden the guy hits the gas & BOOM..
I look over & see a white/gray & black cloud.. & green anti-freeze & black engine oil laying all over the ground..
Another powerpuke lost its lunch.. As I drove off I was {laughing} thinkin>> please. please, please don't tow it to my shop.. PLEASE..

LOL they love to puke. Oil cooler, EGR cooler, head studs, the whole thing was bad, should have kept the 7.3..

So he is going to buy the 1526 BUT wants me to fix the 1705, he doesn't want someone else to hate there 1705. LOL I'll PM you.

I'd like to thank you guys ! I've been having almost the exact same issues you've been experiencing but on a Mahindra Max which has a Mitsubishi SL3 motor. I started a thread in the Mahindra forum on a no start issue. No fuel to the injectors, found the stop solenoid wasn't working right, low voltage to the solenoid due to terminal corrosion. Fixed that and still kept losing its' prime. Like you checked the electric pump, seemed OK and once I got it running it was alright, a little rough under load and acceleration. So decided to drain the tank and see if there was any crud or pluggage. To drain it I hooked up some clear tygon tubing to the electric pump outlet and turned the key on. Wow, should have seen the air bubbles/foam coming out of the pump. Had to be some serious inleakage. Decided to change out all the cloth braided fuel line and spring clamps upstream of the electric pump with solid hose and worm clamps. Fired up first time with no injector bleeding. Real test will be to see if it starts tomorrow. But looks promising and it's not running rough under load.

So thanks again for all the lessons and knowledge on how everything supposed to work !

Reading the threads on this forum are very helpful to all of us. Pumpguy has helped me a lot in understanding how this thing works. I hope yours is fixed but in the AM will tell the real story as you said. If it has an air leak anywhere in the system or you have an injector leaking down you will find out after 8 hours or so of sitting. Let us know how you make out..
