The new shaft is different than the old. The center splines are located a little different and the bearing shoulder is also in a different location.

earndale-- are the shafts really different, or is it just camera distortion? How do they compare when placed precisely side by side?

they are the same just wanted you to see the wear on old shaft end to new one
the bearing still on old shaft i replaced it

Thank you for posting the pictures. How many hours are on the GC? and what type of hydro oil were you using?

permatran oil but looking for a compatible oil now.. got a few days before all goes together..hours I will let you know I think 1066hrs
