I think that I saw them working on a tiller just like yours when I was down there last Monday. Did they have to shorten the driveshaft?

May be heading down there past your house this upcoming weekend. The turf tires and the Bushhog box blade are supposed to be in this week at RExroad.

Looks like tomorrow will be the last nice day around here for at least a little while. Feeling a sudden sickness coming on, might have to take tomorrow off and dig holes in the yard. I haven't quite figured out why I enjoy playing with the tractor so much. I find myself daydreaming of seat time, is this an illness all of its own?

Ray- your Bush Hog tiller looks just like my First Choice RT048- are they made by the same manufacturer? I bought mine at the MF dealer where I bought my 2300.

The left side would be more convienent for the brake pedal. Just getting used to mine now (7.3 hours, I was just on it). I guess over time I will get used to where the brake pedal is though. Is it standard on larger tractors to have the brake on the left or the right, just my ignorance?
The problem with this setup is, if you try to move in close to say a house, or a hole and dump the front bucket the time it takes to move your foot from the drive pedal to the brake pedal can be frightening sometimes. If the brake was on the left side you could have your left foot poised to apply the brakes before

else anyway. You will see what I mean sometime.

I definitely see your point, the left foot feels left out, nothing to do overthere except engage the locking dif. That left foot could be easily poised to hit the brakes when you are doing tight stuff around yard obstacles.

I just got my 2300 today and before this tractor I had a 1984 Snapper 1855a (same as a massey 1855a but different decals) that had the foot pedal for foward and reverse on the right and a brake on the left and I never used the brake but to set the parking brake but the pedal was more comfortable on the snapper.
