I was wondering what a GC2310 with a 54" belly mower, FEL, and BH was going for in the Panhandle area of Florida?

If you have a Kelly Tractor dealer in your area, give them a call and ask. The Kelly Tractor dealer (Massey, Cat, and Cub Cadet) in West Palm quoted me a little less than $15k for the GC2310. They didn't have any in stock though. When I called and asked about the GC2310, the salesman asked what other machines I was looking at. I said the Kubota dealer had quoted $15k on the BX23, and the Massey dealer immediately beat it. They didn't have any GC2310s in stock though, and said it would be a while before any arrived.

Congrats. I was watching that tractor on ebay to see what it would go for. I noticed that immediately after it sold, another one went up in its place...they must have a bunch of them. Anyway, I have a couple of questions. Did they tack on the tax after you bought it? Was MF financing still available or was this a cash only price? I'm considering bidding on this one.

NO tax [delivered out of state]got 2.9% for 48.Real nice people to work with.Won the tractor sat night had it in my garage by the following sun[over 800 miles away]Very happy with the tractor.I had read some posts about poor fit and finish.I went through the tractor top to bottom[when i waxed it,i have OCD] couldn't find anything, paint was very nice, seat worked perfect. The only 2 things i don't like are how you apply the parking brake, and how you engage the diff. lock.Other then that its a nice little machine.

Hello,

I am considering bidding on the 1431 that this dealer has listed on E-Bay but the whole thing makes me nervous! You seem to have had a good experience so let me ask you a couple of questions.

1. How do they handle paying for the tractor? I certainly don't want to pay for a tractor and then never see it (i've read too many things about e-bay tractor scams)!

2. Do you know what you would do if there are any warranty problems? Is your local MF dealer obligated to do the warranty work or can they turn you away since you didn't buy it there?

Thanks for any help you can provide me with.

#2. I am sure that some dealer, somewhere might not like it, but I have never had a non-selling MF dealer have any problem with doing warranty work.

Ditto on the parking brake. I think they could have spent an extra dollar to have it match the quality of the rest of the machine.

I really like mine.I use it for my landscaping bus.It is a strong little machine,as far as the loader goes i may add a shime kit to it.I have bucket hooks and a 6 tooth toothbar on it so you do loose some lifting. The curl on the bucket is very strong,I hooked a chain to my sander[#800] and took it off my dump.I got realley stuck in the mud I mean up to the floor boards, found a rock and picked up and pushed myself out.And the price was unbeatable 15k.JD 585 garden tractors are going for 12k with only a mower deck. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Not to pry but what kind of landscaping stuff do you do with it?
Ive got a side business doing grading, clearing and leveling that I do with my Kubota 3130. Im thinking of down sizing to a BX or 2310.
Last year I developed this allergic reaction to the sun where I cant stand to be in it for more than a few minutes without getting an itching rash that lasts for weeks. It sucks because most of what I like doing takes me outside. My only option is to cut back on my exposure to the sun, so the side jobs have to stop. Sun screen helps but not 100%.
Anways, I need to down size to make the tractor more size friendly around my own yard but I still want the ability to do some stuff for others. Some landscaping companies around here have tractors or skid loaders but many of them only use them as mechanical wheelbarrows for the most part.
Hows the size as far as working dirt and clearing and so forth for commercial use?

Well i had a 575 turbo ford full size and a Gehl skid steer with a bradco backhoe. The 2310 of course is a toy in comparision but it has good power, backhoe is quick and strong.Front loader bucket is a little weak but the tooth bar stiffened it up a bit, front end is a little light,i have a rake on the back works well, very easy to tow around, doesn't take up alot of room in the garage. My only complaints poor design on the exhaust{blows back in your face}alittle tricky to apply the parking brake, small fuel tank and no tach. All pretty minor

I am traveling, working on the railroad, and today, checked out this tractor at Buening Implement, in Effingham, ILL., even though I have ordered a BX 23, always checking out tractors. And as this was only the second GC2310 I have seen in person, had to check it out, they let me drive it around, and work the hoe, thats why its extended in the photo. they listed the price as $15,000.

415,
I bought a 2310 from the same guys. Same price. I added a rotary cutter and a set of turf tires. I am waiting on the delivery now.
How was the condition of your tractor when it arrived.
Did it come on a flat bed or car carrier. I have a piece of flag property and don't know if a full size semi can get in.
