GC2310 TLB vs bx23 new guy need help

I understand and agree that is a better arrangement. I assume that both are standard cat 1 size so my implements would fit his tractor?

The BX uses a smaller than standard Cat 1 hitch. Many owner find they must reverse the pins on their implements (not possible on some implements) or otherwise modify their implements to make a standard Cat 1 implement work. Some implements simply won't work with the BX. Henro (aka Bill) modified his BX's lower arms in such a way that he can use most implements without too much grief. The BX is really a great little tractor, well refined and capable, but it has a real weak point and that is the sub-standard size of the Cat 1 hitch.

If for no other reason than the hitch, I think many people who don't need or want a backhoe on a sub-cut will be looking at the JD2210 and the New Holland TZ18 and TZ24 models.

Thanks Bob. Do you (or anyone else) know if the GC or the TZ have a more standard sized cat 1 hitch that doesn't require these modifications or have these limitations?

It is my observation that the TZ is a standard Cat 1, it is my understanding that the GC is a standard Cat 1. But maybe a dealer could jump in and add some more insight?

Doug, I live in NE Ohio and am looking at 2310...what dealer did you buy from? Also, since they do not offer bar tires, did you get the turf or ag tires

I bought mine from Whites in Atwater..
I got the truffs with mine and some times I DO NOT like them as when U get mud in or on the tread the tires are like Slicks..
I now have 120 hours on it and only prblm so far is the hst slow creep and a small adjustment fixed it.. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Doug, I was at White's a few weeks ago...got quite a bit higher price than (+$2,200 for same set-up) what you listed. I curious if you bought in 04 or was it earlier? Thanks
