GC2400 -- GC2610 Thats comming!!!

Is this new tractor supposed to be a 2008 or 2009 model? This might create some good incentives on leftover 2300 and 2310 models.

If this is true, then I link MF is making a good move. Because there is a big gap between the 2300's and the 1500's. Since I blow allot of snow in the winter in very cold conditions, my wife wanted me to find out how much it would cost to upgrade from the 2300 to the next size tractor that offers a heated hard cab, plus I could use more HP at this altitude (7,200'). That would be a 1533, I'd have to get a new blower, FEL, and MM deck to the tune of $41,595 minus my trade ins. That's ridiculous. Hopefully the new 2400's will fill that hole. I like the idea that the 2300 implements may fit. That way only the tractor would need to be traded in. Hopefully it will be more HP and offered with a cab option.

I did a google search and found nothing. No articles, news releases, nothing. And as we all know, google finds everything. Do you have the actual info you read or a link as to prove this is happening... it would be nice, but will believe it when I see it.....

GC2400/2600 will have similar styling to the 26/3600 series, side by side pedals for fwd/rev, brake pedal will be on LH side, new loader (DL100), redesigned operator platform & new guage cluster. Only details known here so far. Dealers might see pictures by the end of Jan.

Sounds to me like MF engineers have been lurking on the tractor boards and listening. The 2300-2310 is a solid little unit that just needs a couple of tweaks and some cosmetic work to push it to the top of the subcut heap. I am anxious to see what they look like when the first pictures leak out.

I would speculate to say the 2400/2410 would be rated @ approx. 24 Eng. HP, and the 2600/2610 around 26 Eng. HP. Would any of you guys (with the inside connection), be at liberty to tell us if both models will be from the same size platform(subCUT/GC2300), or will the 2600/2610 be larger than the 2400/2410?

I have a 2310 and I hope they are on the 1523 frame/wheelbase size which I would consider a better size/weight ratio. This would be along the lines of the Deere 2520 which has a nice size/ground clearance wheelbase. I agree that the rest of the larger 1500 series are leaving a gap in size from the current subcut models. TP

I would assume the 2400 would be the same size/direct replacement of the 2300, but maybe the 2600 slightly larger?
