Loader GC2400 loader drift

What is this "shudder" you are talking about??

Even at high rpms, when curling up the bucket or swing the boom to the left or righ, even extending the boom-the hydraulics shake the tractor and move the cylinders like a really bad video with a low frames per second rate. I've been though the zercs, the oil level, engine rpm's-no difference. Even bled the system. Happens warm or cold-more so when it's warmed up.

I don't recall it doing this with the FEL for the most part.

Hmmm. Haven't experienced that yet. I only have 42 hrs on mine though. They say it is normal? So mine should do it too?

maybe his power beyond hose is pinched or kinked somehow behind the backhoe?

i haven't used my backhoe for a while, but i could have sworn that shudder goes away at high rpm.

not sure if this is a perpetual complaint thread or what:confused:

i only have one annoying beef, that being the quick connects for the loader which are still leaking after the third dealer 'repair'... other than that i really think this is a very good machine. i have 168 hours on it and would buy another one.

edit: i just talked to my local dealer and this seems to be a simple issue of the machine working the air out of the system after you reinstall the backhoe. come to think of it, the time i noticed the problem i had just reinstalled the backhoe after it sitting off the machine all winter.

My GC2410 TLB had bucket drift and dealer replaced one of the bucket cylinders. Problem solved. Have about 120 hrs on tractor now that happen with about 45hrs.

maybe the loader has been on and off quite a few times.

i have noticed that sometimes i end up with quite a bit of air in the loader lines... not sure what causes it, but it might be something to do with the position of the cylinders when it gets cut loose from the machine.

it does always seem to work itself out as i use it though.

Only have about 10 hours on the tractor and I have never had the loader off.

My bucket will uncurl slowly but only noticeably with a lot of weight in it. More noticeable with the forks on. [ more leverage ] I suspect it is the curl cylinders bypassing internally, but it isn't bad enough to do anything about. I"m also over 1000 hours of pretty hard use. The shudder in the backhoe could be a sticking relief valve. I'd talk to your dealer. Good luck.

Tell me more about these forks? They attach to your bucket or separate?

you could always take a video of it creeping... same with cdaigle430

video would take the debate out of the debate.
