Gehl is dropping is Ag line

Im sure dealers are trying to figure out what to do next. Id hate to be in their shoes! I agree, its a sad way to end a very good and highly regarded product line. It really defies all sense. I guess Ill have to start looking at other mfgs now as I *was* all set on buying a Gehl.

ETA: In retrospect I was wrong about not caring beyond wanting reliable equipment. I know how important a good dealer is but never extended that to the equipment mfg. Im going to put down some sizable money and trust in equipment that will effect my bottomline. The last thing I need is equipment that I cant get support and parts for. OTOH Im not real sure how to figure out what the mfg is about short of becoming a stock holder. Has anyone thought about this and how do you approach the problem?

The dealers have been offered up to a 20% extra discount and a rebate. Just remember Gehl is good equipment but what about warranty, a servicing dealership and parts availability?

20% discount & rebate on stock in Gehls inventory or whats on the dealers lot already? Yes, Gehl is good equipment which is why I was planning to buy it. Ill likely talk to the dealer in my area and find out what the drill is before doing anymore. Thanx for your input I do appreciate it.
