I am more in favor of a full blown TBN "Jamboree." Where we would have all day to mix up with ourselves, and not get sidetracked with Empire State Days.
Of course, we'd need to wind the day up with a big old bar-bee-que with maybe a lip-smackin' Bird or Steve Carver recipe (slurp slurp!). A few of us would be close enough to trailer in a few pieces of equipment, and we could run some "contests," etc. Take some videos and more. We'd probably need some dealer to "lend" us his space for a whole Saturday, plus let us mess around on whatever equipment we felt like.
Bob,
Your ideas would be most interesting,but if that many TBNer's attend and the public stop to see whats going on..than smell the cooking saw the equipment..a small fair ground might be needed./w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif
From the looks of things, we do appear to have "critical mass" of people. Maybe we could get AT LEAST 30-50 people. possibly 100. But I agree the "smell" problem would be attracting hordes of crowds. Maybe we should charge $5 a "plate" like they do around here. Should we form up a Jamboree "committee" to look into real feasability. If we do, we'll have to add a West Coast event too, won't we????? Since I am in IN, I probably would have to attend both $$$$$$
{Brooks Bar-b-que...Brooks' provides full service catering for any get together. With our fleet of catering vehicles we can cater parties from 100 to 3500 people.}

How about BOTH.... 2 days worth? /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif
John, I like the way you think! I know a few of us braved the heat this last Empire Farm Days, so It should be no problem to get a group togeather. Maybe charge a $5-$10 a plate and let the fun begin!
Geeze, I hope you're not gonna keep out the Mainiacs./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif Let's see, if I start from here tomorrow morning, and figure in the top speed of the 6100, deduct the driveways I could plow on the way down, hmmmm......
I might make it for August. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
Seriously, it would make for an enjoyable trip, keep us posted.
