Getting diesel in tractor

I put the 5-gallon can on the hood of the Ford or the back of the Kioti and use a $6 kerosene heater siphon. Three or four squeezes on the bulb and watch so you don't run it over.

If you don't use much fuel just use 2 or 2 1/2 gallon cans.

I have something similar but between the tractor and the diesel 72" zero turn mower it's kind of nice to be my own fueling station. We go through the 30 gallons in a few months so it's just a few trips a year to have fuel in my barn anytime I want it.

Screw together 3 short 2x4's. Put one into the stake pocket and screw a piece of plywood on top of the other two. Place the can on the shelf and siphon the diesel into the tractor.

It works for me, I have a HD 3/4 ton 4x4 so it is plenty high enough to siphon into my JD 2720. And getting the can from the tailgate to the shelf in easy.
