Getting ready for snow

I tryed to stay a far forward as I could to keep the blade closer to the tractor/loader.
But just far enough back that the blade could pivot freely and I could still get some gusset/support bars welded in the front side of the QA plate

thanks, its hard to tell but does the frame work come close to the loader arms or loader cross brace if you roll the blade forward..??

It has plenty of clearance past the front of the tractor and grill guard, so I can lift the loader arms and blade to full height if I want.
It will hit the bottom of the loader arms in the dump position.
I can roll the blade down in the dump position just under half way before it will touch.
For me thats not an issue. I never have the need to roll my snow blade down that far.
I can try and get a picture sometime this weekend if you want.

thanks, that would be great....I'm hoping to look at a 6 footer outfitted to clamp to the bucket but ultimately would dismantle that and put the QA on....

Good job, that is a big rig, You are ahead of me. I just finished fabraction of an old 71/2' fisher to QA today. Still need to plumb hydraulics. I will start that tomorrow. I ship out and leave Wed for a while so paint will have to wait for spring. I still need to load rear tires or throw together a quick and dirty wt box. I have R4's and rear double cross link chains on rear, but think I will need them on front also. I am not impressed with R4's.

Dear Dr. Frankenstein,

Nice monster you have created; now all you need is the requisite lightening bolt (snowstorm) to jump start your creation!
Careful not to rack those loader arms with that big a plow- the DK-35 loader has it's limits with that kind of force.

How are you planning to run your hydraulics?
I ran hoses from the rear remotes for now.

This is the blade rolled down to were it begins to touch the loader arm.
Hard to tell in the pictures, but the loader arms are probably around 2' off the ground and the front of the blade is setting on the ground
This works fine for me. I've been plowing with a front blade on my loader for years and never needed to roll the blade beyond this point anyway.
