- kubota BX22, Cub ZForce S 48 inch deck
I'm changing out a few fittings on my BX. One is leaking a bit and the others are to match up with a test guage for checking the hydro pressure. The dealer had no luck getting the correct fittings for the BX22 as the parts numbers had been changed to the new BX24 fittings. I went to a local hose shop and got 3 sets of fittings for about the same price as Kubota dealers one set.
I tried to change them out but I'm running into problems getting them "unstuck". Seems I can get one side off but not the other in several spots on the tractor. I tried penetrating oil. Any tricks how to get them unstuck? I was thinking on soaking them overnight in a baggie filled with penetraing oil. Don't want to put any heat to the fittings.
