Thank you. That is how it works on my Mitsubishi D2350. However, I was asking SPECIFICALY about Mitsubishi MT15D.

As to my Mitsubishi MT15D tractor. I am still working on glow plug issue. I have checked all that has been posted, and then some. Thank you
However, still not functioning. The person I bought from installed a new ignition switch. I do not know if it is wired correctly. I have Southern Global MT15+ book, with a wiring diagram.
So, the question I have today is: Did this original ignition system switch have a turn back position for glow slugs, or did the key turn to start position, wait a few moments and then start engine?
Currently, when I turn switch on, before starting, the glow plug light does not light. I wait a few seconds and it cranks and starts but takes several cranks to do so. I have two other tractors so am used to diesel operation.

My older tractor's keyed ignition switch had a turn back position (counter clockwise & hold it there) to activate the glow plugs. It didn't give you any indication that the glow plugs were being powered, and you timed it for yourself. Then quickly turn CW to start.

Our newer Kubota uses the key switch first click or "on" position to activate a timer which sends power to the glow plugs and to a signal light for about 5 or 10 seconds depending on outside temperature. Then continue turning the key to start.

On really cold days I will turn it to "on", wait until the glow plug indicator goes off, and then cycle the glow plugs again. Then start.
