Just bought a kama ts254c tractor and the glow plug bar is connected by one wire screwed in the end and run to the coil. Is that right

I am assuming this is a Chinese tractor, if I'm wrong don't read any of this. I don't know about a coil connection but the circuit starts at the heat terminal on the key switch through the fuse and to the center glow plug, this creates an even current draw. Also assuming it's a 3 cylinder engine. That's all the assuming for now.

The word "Coil" here seems confusing.
Are you referring to the little wire indication coil that heats up and glows red-hot when the glow-plugs are activated?
'coolreinfarm' and I would seem to take the word to mean an Ignition Coil for a petrol engine.
There are 5-6 threads on this forum covering issues with the KAMA and a member in Arkansas who stocks parts. ('bluechip') He runs "Artrac" which I take to be Arkansas Tractors(?) at Artrac Company, 219 Taylor Rd, Clarksville, AR 78230
A picture or two could help us help you here.
Anyway. Normally, (all Diesel tractors), yes, the glow-plugs are fed by a single wire and are connected together in parallel using a solid bus-bar.

I will get some pictures for you, I am talking about the ignition coil I think it is right above the starter. I see the glow bar. someone has attached it to a tv cheater cord and drilled a hole in bar I think and put a screw to attach and then the other end is going to terminal on the coil. I am new to this. Where should the wire go to from the glow bar. I see no other wires around. I will try to get some pic and send

I know about as much as you seem to on these tractors it would appear.

1. What fuel do you use - Diesel or petrol (gas) ?
2. How long have you owned the tractor?

In your first post you mention glow plugs, now you mention ignition coil, I think your talking about the solenoid coil for the starter. Before we go any further we need pictures of everything.

blegdleg, if you have a diesel motor you do not have an ignition coil. If you have an ignition coil you do not have a diesel. Pics!
I told you I am a first time owner, just bought the tractor. I know no terms. I do have a disel it is a y385 engine. I do have 3 glow plugs. there is something that is above the starter which has a large wire on it assuming hot wire with 2 smaller terninals on it. I will try to get the pix. tonight and send tomorrow.

The large (Fat/Heavy gauge) wire will be direct live from the battery.
There should be no wire from here to the glow-plugs I don't think.

Yeah, it's starting to sound like a previous owner might have done some not-very-smart field engineering.
I took my pictures but my phone jack is something wrong I can not get computer to recognize it. My son is going to try to get them off for me. As soon as I get them I will send. Where do the two wires on the solenoid go. he has got one which has been replaced because it is outside the bundle going to the solenoid and then going to the black wire on the center of the key switch, and a blue wire is off the terminals and the ends are just hanging out. assuming this is replacing this wire. I know I need to get the pictures as soon as possible. Does anybody know the amount of transmission fluid and what kind I should put back in. I found a gear part broke off and wanted to find it, so I drained the fluid.

the picture on the left has a wire hooked up to round item, don't know what that is, but I found this hanging loose under tractor. the yellow wire goes to the solenoid, and the other wire goes to switch. I found that round item and it looked like it hooked up to it. it had two terminals on it that fit. I learning.
