Kubota m8200 4x4
2004 M8200 4X4 has glow plugs. Haven't figured out how to hold my mouth correctly to get them to work. Key will not turn to the left. Tried with tractor in gear, out of gear, break on, break off.

Not familiar with your tractor but on some tractors you turn the key on and push in on the key and hold it for say 10 seconds then turn key to crank.

On my b2920 you turn the key and hold it right before you crank the engine over. The light comes on on the dash as long as you hold the key there.

Same thing on my 04 BX23 and my 09 RTV1100...I believe it's pretty consistent across Kubota models.

Hold the key in the 'just before start' position for 10-15 seconds and all is good

I guess you do not have the Op Manual for your tractor. On mine, the starter switch has three positions - off, glow plug, start/run. When in the glow plug position, the plugs will turn on if the temps are 32F or colder. When you start - turn key to glow plug position and leave there until illuminated symbol on dash goes out - then turn and start.

I have ordered an Op Man. Thanks.
