Quick Hitches Going a different route for a quick hitch - weld on euro style hooks

mtnview, did you just get them now or have you had them since april and forgot to update the thread :) with covid and all I wouldn't be surprised if you just got them.

I would like to see a video of people hooking an attachment up with these things. They do seem much more versatile than a one piece quick hitch but my problem is that I have a cab tractor so I can only reach the hydraulic top link remote from beside the tractor but not from the back so I would think hooking up the top link hook would get interesting where as the solid quick hitch hook I can line up from in the seat.

I got the straight cat 1 hooks a couple of months ago. I am so busy that it is hard to keep up with the forums.

As far as a video, I would love to do that, but zero time to do so. Search the web, I'm sure you will find a few.

As far as the full 3pt quick hitch, for all of the different quick hitches out there, a person needs to pick the one that fits their needs the best, and that is not always the same type. :)

Check this video out. It's on the first page of this thread actually. He shows how to hook an implement right in the beginning.

thanks for the link to the video but my concern was the top link connection. He didn't have the ball type top link connection on his tractor.

I totally understand mtnviewranch, either way keep pumping out the quality hardware we love, I think your customers would rather have you working on their stuff than surfing the forum.

There is a top link hook also available in both manual and hydraulic versions. I've been selling the European type quick hitch for years, I just don't push them. ;)
Hi,

What's your website for purchasing? I've tried googling but didn't have much luck. Thanks

I have the toplink with the hook,
well pleased with it.
I try and get some pictures some day soon.

that would be much appreciated as well as your comments on how the top link hooks up when your have to adjust it's length while hooking up.

AgristoreUSA now sells the cat 1 hooks in a kit (88057) or individually (88058):

Cat. 1 Euro Style Quick Hitch Hook Kit

The boxes for the hooks say ama Lo Snodo on them, which is this this facility in Italy:

LO SNODO - AMA

Balls are 1.732" OD [44 mm], 0.905" bore, and 1.375" wide.

Here's what one looks like on a cat 1 implement pin:

thanks, that rope on the top link is the trick I was missing to make this setup make sense.

Hello! This makes your EURO hooks better.
You can operate EURO hooks from the cabin. Here both Euro hooks are opened by the black lever under the back window,
For toplink is the blue rope. It is too slick and too hard in winter. I have later a thick rope and spring inside it.
Because the toplink is very heavy, there is the chain and the spring making it easy to operate.

Both hooks open same time

John Deere and Euro hooks.

And here is my small all hydraulic Kubota and its Euro hooks. See the chain and spring for top link to make it easy to operate. Inside the rope is about 10 inch long spring to keep it straight up and away.

This small lever i is only for these hooks . Most do not need it

Hydraulic stabilizer bars are very well. But mechanical work OK too.

Here are the evolution of my hitches

It is easy to go on now. Younger people can do it. I am over 80 years.

One more Mechanical stabilizer bar operated from the cabin.

To much engineering and micky-motion, to easy to get out of whack ... Easier to get off tractor and operate two flip arms on QH and move on....

Take it to next level use solenoids or linear actuators to do hookup with flip of switch from dash....
