I bought the Dixon on Saturday.
I don't know why I didn't buy a ZTR years ago! The speed and ease of operation are amazing. I had all the grass taken care of in half the time and was looking for more.
I chose the Dixon after much thought and examination of the Snapper and Dixon. The Snapper looks great but right or wrong, I always came back to Ram 44. Time will tell...

I think you'll be happy with it. I thought I was going to buy a Dixon myself, but the only dealer in the area didn't have one in stock, and I really wanted to at least see one before buying, and I also have no way to transport one right now; sold my pickup and not sure when or whether I'm going to replace it. I considered buying one from Sweet, but then the local Toro dealer offered me a better price and guaranteed free pickup and delivery if it ever needs to go in for warranty work. And like you, it's so fast, I've already mowed my daughter's yard and ours and two neighbors' yards just trying it out. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Incidentally, I downloaded the 106 page service manual in .pdf format free from Toro's web site.

I'm not sure if mine will fit on my pu or not; It's a Tacoma.
I'm sure I'll have to back it on and let the front wheels of the mower rest on the tailgate.
If it doesn't work; I've got a friend with a trailer.
It's rather sad to see our "grass" season ending now. Soon I'll be looking at snow.

We never expect to see much snow in this part of the country. I usually mow until the middle of November, then get a break until early March, although sometimes have to mow in February.
