Golf Cart, Gas vs Electric

after seeing Don's I went with a club car too -- like the aluminum--wife's buggy .... she loves the lack of noise and I like the next to nothing maintenance.

I've had my 'lectric legs for 8 years, hardest-workin' tool I own. I guarantee it could turn around and pull that 1/2 ton of firewood back up that hill it just came down. Actually, brakes are their weakest link.

Mikim has what I consider the best choice for the rear of the cart. The seat folds down for a flat bed. It's great for hauling stuff or people.

One thing that electric is good for is the lack of sound. if you are trying to sneak around w/out spooking wildlife - it's perfect.

I like em both - but i am about to buy one for my 6 acres and it's gonna be electric.

let us know what you decide.

Golf course next door (36 holes) has some steep hills and they have about 50 gas carts.

Alot of courses lease their carts. If you can find a lease company, maybe they have some deals on older carts. They should at least have a heck of a selection.

I run a gas Yamaha and it does have the lift kit and larger four wheeler tires. It isn't loud and for where I go I didn't want to think about having to pull an electric cart out if I got stuck. It might have been a plus when I slid into a flooded stream and it was taking me down stream a bit but then it might have hurt some components.

So I guess some would say I have the worst of both worlds with my hotrod

Then again, I do get to dial in my Voltage, and can weld when I arrive. :D

Dang! That's a hybrid!

I love the cable-tie accessories. They are my favorites right after I run out of bungees.

Very nice Alan.:)
