I think from what I read in the 3000 series the R models are pretty strong but in some ways the E’s have a weaker loader. For example a 3025E doesn’t really have a stronger loader than a 2032R. It doesn’t make them bad tractors but kind of supports what you said about being weak.
Well if you looked at the NH, you should also look at LS.... they make some of the tractors FOR New HollandI just went through the entire process you're going through. Wanted a new compact. Wanted the best financing available. I looked at Kioti, New Holland, Massey Ferguson, John Deere, Kubota, TYM, RK, Branson and Yanmar. When I say "looked at", I mean physically drove to the dealers to look at them, inspect them, operate them, etc.
What I found after all my research was that for the money, you can't beat New Holland. They have standard equipment that only the "R" series Deere has, and the "R" Deeres are $6,000 more money. The NH also has top notch loader capacity, 3 point lift capacity, axle rating, tire size, etc. The NH comes with mid PTO standard, rear remotes standard, independent rear PTO, a correct set of dual hydro pedals, independent brakes, cruise control, etc. etc. Just a LOT more tractor for the same price. And, it's backed by the Case-New Holland dealer, parts, and warranty network which is second only to Deere. Lastly, New Holland is doing 0% financing for 60, 0.9% for 72, or 1.49 % for 84 with easy approval.
At the end of the day, there were things I just didn't like about the other brands (that horrible 'treadle' on the Kubota, live PTO on the Kioti, poor parts/service network on the TYM, etc.) and I couldn't justify paying $6-7k more money to get the same feature set on a tractor with green paint.
Good luck to you.
NH depends on the model, some are made by LS so you might as well go with LS. Workmaster 40 is made on the same assembly line as LS machines. I have no doubt they are fine machines, but I would buy the LS instead and save $$.

The Kubota true TLBs are certainly not weak. They are seriously strong & stable..... and also more expensive than either brand's 3pt tractor plus backhoe. Might as well drive them all before deciding.I think from what I read in the 3000 series the R models are pretty strong but in some ways the E’s have a weaker loader. That is very unusual because usually the dealer must pay part of your 0% interest loan. Which is why one should be able to get a cash discount equal to the dealer contribution commanded for a 0%.I think discounts aren’t as good as a couple of years ago. Usually you can get implements cheaper elsewhere but it’s nice to roll it into 0%.
I bought 2 years ago a JD 2025r and wanted to pay cash. I actually saved $500 by taking the 0% for 5 years. I think they hope you miss a payment so they can whack you for the interest. I had the same thing on a car where we saved more by taking out a loan with dealer, which we promptly paid off with the first payment.
