You can always add weight to a light vehicle.

And I could always stop eating my mom's cheesecake to lighten the load a bit.

For me, adding weight is not an option. It really isn't very useful to put weight in the front with power going to the rears, and putting the weight on the back negates the usefulness of a dump bed. You have to choose your poison. Until the terrain around my farm gets muddier, and utility carts and spreaders start becoming equipped with electric brakes...I'll take the added weight for stability and traction-in normal environments.
