Good battery cable ends?

You can also get a set of side terminal battery cables at a junk yard in good shape or buy new, install a side terminal battery, and probably never have the old top terminal problems that you are experiencing. I have been doing this for years, and it works. Both of my J.D's are side terminal.

Never seen side terminal cables and a side terminal battery large enough to make me consider using it in heavy equipment.

My old JD 2240 starts real good with just one side terminal battery. My Mahindra starts just fine. My Dodge Cummins fires right up. I've run excavators that would not hardly start with two good top terminal batteries. A lot of it is the motor. If you have a Kubota that is hard to start, then I guess you better stay with the top lug. [[[ ]]]

I do like this style for autos, Lead-Free OEM Style Battery Terminals bit dont go large enough for 4/0 wite.

Like the looks of these Straight Pure Copper RoHS Battery Terminals and they go up to 4/0 wire too:thumbsup:

Wouldn't work on top post battery, but that's a good way to make eyes that I have never thought of.

How do you attach them to the battery post?
