Garry, I'm so disappointed in you. You didn't paint it the same color as FunBuggy!

Dang, that's a seriously nice ride.

Congrats Garry.

When do you get to see how it drives on the golf course?

Hi Garry, what a nice ride. Should have room for all the toys. Now you just need a trailer with a tractor on it and do golf course maintainace as you go around the states. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Of course you could also have some really good TBN parties in it also.
Drive safe and take care.

Thanks everyone!

Yeah, I know Bob. But we were warned by someone very close to us that we'd better not buy one of those plain, vanilla white motorhomes. Besides, if I ever get another FunBuggy, I think it might be a little cheaper to paint the golf cart instead of the MH. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Brian,

I got a feeling they won't even let me in to the parking lot at most of golf courses I play because it's too big! It does have the air ride sytem, but I don't think that'll help with avoiding ruts. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Alan,

Elements of both of your suggestions are under consideration! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Jerry,

We'll be coming out there around Labor Day to bring her a trailer of furniture that we're giving to her. Because it'll be right in the middle of when we'll be packing up the house, we probably will only be there for a day, or two at the most. I'll defintely let you know. I believe we're planning on coming back to spend Thanksgiving with her too.

Eddie,

You want the specs huh? O.K.

It's a 2002 Damon Escaper double slide. It's a 40 footer, it has a Cat 330 hp diesel engine with the Allison 6 transmission. With that combination, the owner told me he's been able to get 9 - 11 mpg out of her. That's pretty good! It has a full air ride system, so it's smooth as silk going down the highway. When we park it,,we can dump the air and the body settles down to about 6 - 8 inches above the ground to make getting in and out easier. It's sitting low in the pictures I attached. It has a home theater with surround sound, a 12 disc CD changer, a DVD player, a VHS player ( /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif), and a KingDome in motion satellite system. It has a roof mounted solar panel that is capable of recharging all of the batteries in one day (if it's sunny), and it has 50 amp electrical service. It holds 109 gallons of diesel ( /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif), 42 gallons of propane, 75 gallons of fresh water, and 50 gallons each in the black and the grey tanks. It also has an Onan 7.5 Quiet generator. We can run everything in the coach off of the generator, but of course it also has all of the shore hookups for power, telephone, cable TV, city water. It has an automatic hydraulic self leveling system. Queen bed, and the sofa up front folds down into a full bed.

I can tell you guys this sure doesn't drive like the coaches I used to drive for a charter company I worked for. The driver seat and the front passenger seat are soft leather and 6 way power seats. But the passenger seat also is a FULL recliner! I got a feeling I'm going to be talking to myself a lot while going down the road, because Jenny will probably be asleep! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
