Good Loaders for TC 35D ?

Thanks for your past help folks. Believe it or not I moved away from the older 2010 & 1920's and just bought a buddies TC 35D 4WD Hydro /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gifwith only 160 hours, Cab and 6" bush hog and blade.

What advice could you provide me on Loader selection. It appears the Bush Hog M300 or Allied 295 specs better and is cheaper than the NH OEM yet I do not want to stress the tractor with the incorrect loader. I realize with after market I will lose most of the NH loader curve for visibility.Trying to save some money here yet dirt/rock/stump loader work is the bulk of my work at my place and I want to get a good system. I have yet to find anything that my factory 16LA loader wouldn't do. Not knowing what you are planning to use your loader for other than some obvious things, My personal opinion would be to go with the tried and true 16LA from NH.

My personal opinion and it is only my opinion is the buy the New Holland loader before any aftermarket. There has been a lot of discussion on TBN about that. Do some searches. My reasoning is if there is any kind of trouble both New Holland and the aftermarket company can't sit there and point fingers. I think if you do a search for "Mosey" there is a long drawn out discussion on the Bush Hog. I think the post was "ordered my M246 Bush hog today".

Now others are not afraid of buying the aftermarket stuff and have good luck with it.

Thanks Mark and Murph. I will search the archives and I do expect resale or used wholesale to be escallated with an OEM if I ever trade up. I might even sell this new heated deluxe Curtis cab to get the Loader before the cab could spoil me this winter. Missouri winters are pretty mild accept for 6- 10 days of ice storms. I was surprised to see a 800 lb lift spec increase on the Bush Hog model yet I realize that can be out of spec to what the tractor should see. The NH dealer thought highly of the Bush Hog quality. The loader work will mainly be used to finish off grading and puting gravel on a new road after track work and moving wet hay and manure, which the later is often tough even for a skid steer. I will be careful to not overlad my loader expectations but saving 400(Bush H.) - 1200(Allied) is worth investigating since I still have a pole barn to build.
So if anyone else hase expereince with an after market of a TC 30 - 45 please chime in. Back tio research. Thanks again.

I also think there was some discussion about the net weight of the aftermarket loaders being so heavy that you really didn't have the cabability of lifting anymore than the New Holland Loader. Just do a lot of checking before buying. If I remember right, Mosey bought the Bush hog only to return it and get the New Holland because the loader did not do what he expected.

Charlie,

A couple of quick points.

Remember that the hydraulic pump is doing all the work for the FEL (powering it up that is). If a given loader can lift more weight then it will also move proportionally slower for a given RPM (compared to another loader).

Also, loaders are sometimes spec'ed differently (some at the loader pin, some at the bucket edge) so be sure you are comparing apples to apples.

Lastly, I have the 16LA loader and I wouldn't want to mess with anything that it can't pick up. It seems very strong and fast. Best of all I can remove it in just a few minutes. It is VERY easy.

With that said, I'd expect BH to make a good product too.

You did not mention and I am assuming that you do not have the SuperSteer option on your TC-35D since you are talking specifically about the 16LA loader.

No loader complaints here either. And as another member already said the 16LA & 17LA loaders are easy on and easy off with no tools needed.

Thanks for the good tips Peter and Pineridge. Sorry for the delay, that blasted work thing.. Tech specmanship apples to oranges marketing approach is noticed. I have also come to prefer specs close to the 16LA for obvious reasons.
The aftermarket NH 16LA's must come with a bar of gold in them to fetch their $4000 dealer cost in the Quick Pick bundle(learned from this great site). So to get it installed and spend 40% of my entire used price for the Non Super Steer, Hydro TC 35D new Bush Hog & blade just for the loader strikes me a bit high. Can't fight the entire market I suppose. This also means I got a good deal. A couple of NH dealers actually praised the BH M 300 loader and the Rhino/SMC(makes the NH backhoes and some larger non boomer NH loaders, nice hood curve) which can be bought up to a 1000 less.
So I am trying to find an older stock 16LA for now but open to hear of someone with a class 3 and a good working non New Holland loader. After market loader blues. Luckily it has been too rainy to move dirt and fencing is the chore of the month.

My daughter said she wants a 4 wheeler. I told her I just bought a "Blue 4 wheeler on Steroids"!

You guys know any details about when a "Cable system is required tpo mount a loader when your TC has a hard Cab on it. Still trying to decide to keep this new sweet lookin Curtis Cab on her or not. The colder it gets the woosier I will get.

Pineridge, Thanks for the great pics of the TC 40. Pretty place and lake too. I have been wondering about the addition of rear remotes while I am having midmounts installed for the loader, sometime. Another neighbor has a real heavy hydro box blade you could almost strip mine with for me to use. I could use those forks in the pics this weekend for pallets of fence posts. Luckily I have the Post H Digger, a weak mind and back, just right for this work in the rain. Feel free to PM me if you have a dusty NH loader just wanting a home. Thanks again......

Sorry no dust here on our loader, fact is I just came in from the pole barn where I was out touching up the blue paint on the lower 17LA loader arms. Sometimes they get down in the gravel and a touch-up eliminates that nasty stuff they call rust. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I personally think you would be real happy with a set of rear remotes on your tractor. Besides, once you get bit with the top and tilt bug you'll have to put them on anyway. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
