Was afraid they would hit the corn crib turning it. I helped build that corn crib back in the 70s, and put a lot of corn in it.

Good (Maundy Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 8.2C and it's presently 22.7C, mostly clear with a gentle breeze.

Right, all of the signs were erected yesterday... despite having to return to St Helens' hardware shop to buy a container of 'long' wood screws [because, after the third sign, we drove off with them sitting on the rear bumper of the ute. Couldn't find them after that. ]. I still had time to get my grocery shopping done.

So today should be a relaxing, catch up sort of day with an evening (1900) Maundy Thursday service at Church.

Monday came down with noro virus I did not know a human could poop or throw up that much very weak now. Hospital called this afternoon said it’s running rampant there so that’s where I got it. They are still working on her dosages. It seems I’ve lost several days and very tired. Not much in house to nibble on trying to drink sugar free Gatorade.

Hope you get well soon! That is exactly why I try to avoid visiting people in hospitals. If you are not sick when you go in you will probably be when you come out.

Poured first cup of coffee. 24° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 62° with a few clouds in afternoon. Did some shop cleanup yesterday. When it warmed up put grapple bucket on tractor. Removed a stump from neighbor's yard. Still need to move some dirt to fill in hole today. Have a new shelf to mount in shop.

While heading to do chores notice something BIG black doing slow stroll down the driveway,wasn't Boo that I know due to bear actions and size.

Plans for today...8 hours at part store afterwards no clue yet.

We've had male hummingbirds for almost 2 weeks, but yesterday the first female showed up.

Split firewood and filled a pallet. Still 2 more to go to be ready for next year. Mowed grass...growing fast.

Good Morning,
Ct, 32 to start going to 57 with mostly sunny skies.

Work called yesterday and asked me to come in today. I normally only work 1 day per week but the owner is having a lot of difficulties with his right knee and leg. So his 73 yo employee will fill in for his 67 yo boss

Yesterday I enrolled at our local community center. They were offering a German speaking class, which actually started awhile ago, but I went and enjoyed the class. I am more advanced than the other students but had a good time anyway. Learned a few new words also , something different for a change.

Buppies, glad you got some sleep finally and hopefully a quick recovery.

Need some breakfast before work, so time to get going.

That was north section of skyline drive. Had to go fix something for MIL that took about 5 minutes.
Dad is doing ok. Noticed this morning no power on a camera, so maybe they did hit power line unloading the dozer right under it.

Rapidly closing in on 8AM.
Still only at the freezing point but full sun. If it goes well we will see 50F.
Good enough to get into some outdoor work that's been put off for weeks with our confused weather this spring.
Probably approaching a 100 Kanuckistan Geese in the area where I plant sunflowers. What they find so attractive there I don't know. I can't imagine there's any seed left as different birds have been working it since I mowed it down last September.
Brekky plans are egg salad on toast with a nice slice of heirloom tomato I bought yesterday.
