I do have to prep a fair amount of food for tonight's Chinese meal that I am planning on making to accompany the leftover home made Hot & Sour soup that we made.

That reminds me I need to make some black bean coffee brownies.

A few summers ago when I was working in the city, (home every weekend), I watched 4 blackflies take off with one of my cats. Two mosquitos brought it back. :laughing:

I agree jbrumberg this year bugs will be bad pollen really bad glad my ribs are almost healed

There are so many things that I complain about out here... the dryness, the wind, the dirt.... but I can not complain about bugs. No mosquitoes, No ticks, rarely a hornet, flies yes, but only the typical houseflies. I remember the mosquitoes back East.... I sure do not miss them!

We do have some nasties.... rattlesnakes, 4-5 inch centipedes (they REALLY GIVE ME THE WILLIES), and a lot of stink bugs.

I had pollen on my truck today, tulip trees and Bradford pears , as well as forsythia and several other species are blooming. Seems mighty early.

LS; I will suffer with the mosquitoes and black flies rather than rattlesnakes and what have you down there.
