32 outside this AM, heading to mid 40's.
Road trip to Baltimore and back went well. Only flipped off two drivers in Maryland for seriously cutting me off to where I slammed the brakes and looked in the rear view for incoming. The last guy seemed really bent on returning the bird as he brake checked me and a few others before trying to obtain light speed on an off ramp. After all that I settled down and realized I am part of the problem. Best to not slam on brakes anymore. LOL.
Got home to a nice warm house, wife had the wood stove all fired up. Ahhh.... she even moved some more split stuff around. Such a wonderful partner.
Did I mention the roads were all pre-treated for all this snow this AM? Yeah...dry as a bone outside here. I think the weather people backtracked on the storm late last night. Too late for the road crews. Supposed to be mid 70's by.... Saturday.
Not much on the agenda today. Still need to get the fence lines for the horses to stay in the front pasture reworked. Need to include an auto-waterer where they are now. T-Posts are me friend.
Need to look for a cat today, last night in the way back, I think a coyote or something might have ended the life of one of ours. It was not a nice noise for a few seconds. Yikes....
PJ, there is a certain coolness about you and your work on organs. That's some fascinating history on those instruments for sure.
Hope David with all the rain is staying dry.
Get well soon, Buppies.
Sorry about the cat, txdon. Seemed like quite a good one, Sincere condolences.
We are a big fan of Dupont's work in the medical field, especially the work they did on back issues. Now a days we frequent specialists in NY, who trained with some Docs, from Dupont. Pioneering work they have done. Quite a legacy.
Hope all have a great day. Be safe.
