53F and cloudy @ 09:45 but starting to lighten/brighten up outside, high of around 60F for the day.
Forecast had originally called for rain all day today, but they revised it last night to chance of rain in the morning and clearing out with partly cloudy skies in the afternoon. An indication that the system is moving through here faster than they expected.
No idea whether that faster movement will hold up as it heads further east.
Very excited by what's in the Ten Day: next six days are showing basically 0 percent chance of rain with warming into the low to mid-80's by this coming Wednesday.
Good prospects for getting a lot done outside.
Woman's string trimmer is on the UPS truck, "out for delivery" ...
Not sure what all I'll dive into today, but finishing up the maintenance on the last two boxes of whiteworms is one thing that is definitely on "the list" for this morning.
Two other things for some point are getting a sheet cake baked and venturing out to the flower bed around back to cut some tulips and daffodils for a bouquet, both for The Woman of course ...
Did notice there was one kind of sad looking orange left out on the counter last night ... so I might have to see if I can rig up some sort of holder for that, to see if I can attract that oriole back.
Getting the new frame for the soil screener screwed together should be another item that will be fairly easy to get crossed off the list.
May go ahead and get the order placed for the landscape fabric for the garden, since it will probably take a week or so to get here.
Hope Roy is doing ok, unusual not to hear from him for several days.
Otherwise hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe Saturday ...
