Time spent, but….
Not happy with first flail fix attempt so had to undo everything. Was actually looking pretty good, so much so that I hit the threads with blue loctite and tightened. Got it almost mounted on tractor when decided I didn’t like the geometry and unmounted. Of course having used the loctite I had to immediately disassemble before it completely set up. Didn’t take any pics .
Next attempt is quite similar but the lift pins will point inward rather than outward. Oh well.

Blue loctite should undo ok, the red is tough.

I have leftover millet on my lawn, takes a long time to get eaten.
last time I put up a suet cake a bear in NC bent my beautiful black steel hanger into a pretzel.
It was a peanut butter one. Who could resist...
Think I'm safer here.
local squirrels eat all my feeders dry, hard to blame them
I just don't want to attract larger critters

Jay, in heaven you will be surrounded by a flock of loving birds

my electric push mower shows up today. Have an spot near the bird feeders that really needs being mowed, and can't get the rider there easily and trying
to reduce weedeater use. Hopefully relatively quiet so I don't have to wear headphones

I've been researching those extra hard mower blades RS is using. I need an excuse to stop in JD dealership up near Popgadget's area and see if they stock
the blades with Marbain heat treating. I also like their JD spray lube. And who can resist another tube of green grease.

I should take a picture of all the bear-bent feeder poles I have that need some serious torching and bending with a cheater bar to become useable again.

Do you know where the most Rolls Royce products are made?
Indianapolis.

was reading article on new engines for B-52; using existing RR engines out of large Gulfstream business jets.
always thought they'd update to a four engine solution but I guess they want to keep all eight. Lot of levers to fool with, amazing
amount of gauges. An analog plane pulled into the digital age. I guess the laws of metal fatigue don't apply to this plane.

we have much newer, faster, stealthier bombers. We have missile submarines, missile destroyers, missiles out the wazoo; conventional and nuke, there isn't much we can't blow up if we want to.
Always wondered why they kept this 56 Chevy flying.

you see one of these at a major airport in that charcoal grey paint and it looks like flying death.
with training wheels on the ends of the wings they are so long and heavy.

not sure we need to carpet bomb any third world countries any more. But you never know.

Drew, you don't think the NC bear would follow you to PA for all the good easy eats? :ROFLMAO:

Tin job on V-plow 1/2 done. Broke 5, 1/8" drill bits. :( I gotta pre-drill the holes to get the self drilling/tapping screws in.
I will get more next Thursday when I go to town again, gotta get another bag of cement anyway.
I did move the post that protects the drilled well to better protect it. That is the same post we hang the outside mosquito zapper on.
It pissed down rain last evening, so working on the bush edges is out of the question for right now.
Rest and relaxation is on for the rest of today.

Good Morning
71 going to 83 today.
I did get all the mowing done yesterday, grandson was late to the party, but he helped take the 3 pt mower off, blow the tractor off, refuel it and park it back in the shop.
Then we got on the Lazer and trimmed every thing up, all the pasture fence lines are tedious. Need to attack them with the string trimmer in the not too distant future.
Next up was a gate repair using a come along and sledge hammer.
This is some of what gets mowed with the 16’ Progressive TD16

Got a good picture of Zoe with a real camera-

Today we are taking the grandson to the Philadelphia Zoo, should be a fun day until he gets worn out. Although he held up pretty well working with me yesterday. He just turned 3, so I give him some leeway.
