Good Morning
52 and might top 70 today under partly cloudy skies.

Yesterday was consumed mostly by a trip to Marsh Harbour, then Stuart FL before coming home to Philly. There was some significant weather over the Carolina’s, we were to the east of it going southbound, but it moved out over the water for our trip northbound. We were on top of it at 45,000 feet. You would never know how nasty the weather was under us by this view.

I got home in time to do a few chores, Zoe’s class was canceled, so I did some RC flying with son and grandson.

Today I’ll start pulling staples out of the old fence wire getting ready for tomorrow’s installation of the new fabric. Not much else planned, but it seems like something always pops up to keep the day interesting.

Good morning, the low temperature is 53 and the high to 73°F. Wind SW 10 to 15 mph. Zero precipitation. A partly cloudy day.

It will be plenty buggy today. My Thermocell bug deterrent works good though. The odd blackfly manages to nip my hands, but nothing I can't handle. I do have 'after bite'.

Speaking of bears, I bought this place in March 1994, when I came to check it out there was a large bear paw print on the snow outside the living room window. A few years later one of our friends from down south stayed overnight and in the morning saw a bear meandering up the driveway. The friend has NEVER been back.
I don't know about grizzlies and polar s, but black bears are basically afraid of people. Knowing that doesn't make me foolish enough to walk up to them and challenge them. Of course Momma bear and cub(s), watch out! You mess with her cubs and you are in for a world of hurt.
During the war, my Dad (city boy) was stationed in Northern Quebec and got treed by a bear when he thought he would pet the cute little puppy dog. His friend had a Thompson and scared the bear off.

As for tools, when I cannot find a tool I know I own, I go a buy another one. That way I am guaranteed I will find the first one.

Have a safe day all

Good morning, another nice day 60 going to 76

Plan to fish out more fence poles from the stack today. Will use the excavator to sort through them to find the biggest ones
Hopefully the daughter will come out and help tomorrow. She used to help a lot around the farm driving the old tractor with bushhog before she could even shift gears. Had to set her up in the right gear and send her off.

Also plan to look some more for the brake bleeders on the RTV. Ordered some brake fluid DOT 3 for it in 12 OZ cans. Want to always use a fresh can to avoid moisture pick up. Will also get ready to do brake flush on the sprinter. I think I have the special brake fluid for it already. Activating the ABS system is good to do to get the fluid through those passages.

PT went well yesterday . Little sore so will mainly focus on stretches today

Daughter in Sweden had some time off yesterday and enjoyed a canal boat tour through Stockholm. She sent a bunch of pictures and videos Very pretty city located on a series of islands

Good Morning!!!! 65F @ 5:15AM. Mainly sunny. High 88F. Winds S at 10 to 15 mph.

Almost finished mowing with the tractor yesterday, just an hour or two left this morning, then switch over to the weed wacker to do the very steep areas I used to do with the tractor, but that now just create too much stress. More exercise for me this way, but I could use it.

Neat fire ring, Billy. Colorful chairs, too. Did you make them?

That wheelchair ramp is bigger than the tree house, Don. What will they put inside of it?

Talked to a salesman about the van I spotted over the weekend. After sorting out some confusion, I learned that they ordered it about two months ago, and it won't be in until August. It was ordered by a customer that later decided they couldn't wait for delivery, and I think they're worried about being stuck with something they can't sell. I asked them to name a figure for it, with the understanding that any deposit I put down will be refundable if I change my mind. I'd be happy if I don't end up paying for the options I don't want, so I'll likely do the deal if they come back with something reasonable. Then keep looking in case something as good or better comes up, or delivery is delayed longer than they think.

Decided to go motorcycle camping this weekend, so started pulling the zebra bike out of moth balls. In the process found some tools in the touring bike's saddlebags that I'd been missing for a while. Got a route planned and loaded into the GPS, and was reminded once again about how truly bad the Garmin software is. Whoever wrote it obviously never used it.

Fritz- You, your Wife, and family amaze me in the most + of ways. You and your Wife know more and can apply "real solutions" better than the "experts," and even better enlist your kids in your projects to help them better build their own life foundations by example. Jay
Thank you for your kind comments. We learned and explained to the kids we were not there to be win a popularity contest but to guide them to do the right thing even if it caused some grief and tears. For some it worked for some not so much but they had other issues at work.
