Good morning!!!!

15 outside right now, heading to maybe 42 today.

The wind picked up yesterday sort of in the middle of the afternoon, that brought the nice day to a halt. Well sort of. It just got colder and I started to slow down. Managed to get another 1/2 cord cut, split and stacked into the wood shed. Will probably return to cutting up some more today on the big oak. The log splitter started surging yesterday, maybe some contaminated fuel. Will have to check that out this AM. Sigh...cannot have that happening.

On the frustratingly stupid side of life, my daughters health insurance was once again, inactivated. As in no coverage. This is the fourth time this has happened in the last three months. Calling the insurance company is just so aggravating. They hand off from person to person, no one can id the problem, they say it takes like 24 hours to "fix". Yet it takes them literally hours to "break". You better believe me when I say we will launch some serious complaints about customer service. No one seems to understand the ramifications of dropping someone from coverage as they are seeking medical services. This is a national insurance company. Needless to say....I am still ....hot.

Hey, the moon is still a sight to behold this AM. Hope all have a great day. Be safe.

I have a 6” 120VAC muffin fan from an ancient desktop computer power supply that I point at our woodstove to distribute the heat, in addition to the Caframo on top.
Amazing how much air that Ecofan can push. That's the only fan we regularly use.

23° now highs today in the low 30’s, a mix of sun and clouds with west winds 10-15 mph.

Feel like I’ve been in some kind of time warp lately, busy all day but doesn’t seem like I accomplished much of anything. Maybe it’s just getting used to being dark at 4:30 pm.

Yesterday was grocery shopping and stocking up for winters eventual arrival. We got about 3” of white stuff the other day but it changed to rain and was gone by early afternoon. Also installed a new gateway/router/modem or whatever they are called today. Was a relatively smooth install, the biggest pain was getting all the WiFi stuff talking again. Didn’t realize how much stuff we have, 2 laptops, 4 tablets, 2 phones, 1 printer, 2 roku boxes, 1 fire stick and a partridge in a pear tree lol.

Oh well that’s enough jabbering for now.

Helo, I enjoy reading your posts, makes me slow down and actually comprehend what you write 👍👍

Enjoy your day everyone (or all y’all)

Have her contact the insurance company’s Special Investigations Unit. They all have one, and while they are primarily concerned with fraudulent claims, they also have an internal controls function, and that may help resolve the cancellation issues.

16 going to 43.

Kyle, very impressive job on that manifold.

Mostly, glad you had a safe trip home.

Yep, Buppies, we still need lots of rain (or snow 😁) to fill our lakes streams and groundwater.

Had a wonderful trip down to Virginia Beach to visit with my mom and sister. Did lots of chores to help her...always makes me feel good, starting with getting her Christmas decorations down and tree up. A high priority for me was to fix her iPhone so she wouldn't push my cell phone account over its data limit again. I use Android, but am getting better on Apple since I gave her this phone a few years ago. My niece had fixed an issue for her a while back, but switched off wifi. I got that turned back on and got her PC running properly again so she wouldn't use her iPhone for everything.

Light traffic in the tunnels made the drive smooth.

We have our son, wife and new granddaughter coming today for a few days. Thier first trip since she was born.
