Back from a costco run, $370 and no gas or tires. $40 for 40 frozen hamburger patties. $25 for tide, pack of batteries $21, eye drops $30...
Forgot to get OJ, one of the things I really needed.
What a zoo it was. Lots of old slow people, like myself...
Did get a blizzard at DQ on the way home, but at $5.50 for a small, need to cut that out.
I rarely get one.
Good thing today is pay day.

Low tire warning again as I left the house, had to turn back and air it up. Looks like something in tire 1/3 way CW from the stem. Will have to run it down to the local garage and see if they will plug it, maybe tomorrow morning.

66°F and 1.3 inches rain. A wet one yesterday but sun shining this morning.

No plan for today, coffee first. Likely to make a stab at progress with the hydro setup. Procrastinating starting next round of mowing.

Good Morning.
76° 85% humidity, high of 87 with thunderstorms late in the day.
Yesterday was another slow paced day, major accomplishments were to install acid neutralizer on the boiler condensate drain, load ductwork up into the attic and clean up.

Today is installing all the doors and windows. First fun task was to assemble the transoms to the patio doors, Andersen doesn’t ship them assembled because they are too large.

Hot and humid, doesn’t take long to work up a sweat.

86F and "Fair" @ 13:00, WU calling for a high of 90F for the day with a 39% chance of scattered thunderstorms. DP 68F, HU 53%, "feels like" temp = 94F.

So pretty much nasty out there ...

Got hopper feeder, both tube feeders refilled first thing yesterday. Also scattered some seed for the ground feeders.

Precip total for yesterday ended up being 0.41" ...

Good chances for rain through Saturday.

Heading up to the shop here in a few, have several projects I can work on up there.

Later, once the back deck is in shade, I may venture out there and see about removing more deck boards. Or not ...

4.50 for a single cone here Buckeye and it was very good
but didn't have a strong enough strawberry taste for me.
They even grow their own strawberries...

successful trip dropping off veggies at Popgadgets and then on to a ice cream shop.
got gas, 4.19 for Exxon Plus.

one more trip outside to put cover back on mower and then my afternoon will include cleaning the house
I brought the Makita 3/8 drill in and cleaning the bathroom tub includes putting a brush attachment in the drill and
cleaning that way. It works darn well and easier on my arms. I have to use both cleaner and CLR for the green.
Hopefully not much longer. Hose it down, let it sit a few minutes and then start mowing the porcelain field.
wish I had an orbital, that would work better.
so would a maid...

88 going to 91 today with no rain in the forecast. Yesterday's rain was good but a lot more is needed.

Finished the tree shelter work. Next will be mowing the areas without tree canopy cover were they are most vulnerable to Voles boring into the roots and killing the trees. Leaving the grass short will make them exposed to Hawks and drive them away.

Picked up brown eggs from the Mennonite place and took a short drive on the back roads. Met 3 or 4 pick ups on the back road trip. Must be rush hour

Came out OK, but I won't try that again until I find a way to tone down the burners. A good BBQ sauce will hide a lot of sin.

I have a Masterbuilt Smoker, it’s electric and really easy to control the heat settings ! You can dump dampened wood chips in there for your smoke. Bought it TSC, have you looked into those at all ?
The ribs usually come out great !
