Another great day here in rural Hawaii.

Sophie’s ophthalmologist very pleased with pics and exam, pressure at 13. Now she has to repeat with alternate Dr tomorrow and her ophthalmologist Friday to monitor the pressure. He did adjust med dosages. AN inconvenient pain in a sense but I can’t imagine anything I’d rather do.

surprisingly cool morning, mid sixties, with rain all afternoon and rain tomorrow as the remnants of Debby
go through this area. Path is inland so less here. Couple inches of rain will be just fine and much appreciated.
did not hear back from niece in Charleston, that town got smacked again.

up early, brain buzzing with mental lists.
now what do I need to do today...
hope to get a little time outside before it rains.
then it's back to cleaning house.

forecast for this weekend has improved, rain may stop early Sat morning so car show will not be a disaster.
no one wants their 100k GTO to get water spots...and some of those old convertibles aren't too water tight.
and some don't even have tops...

I have to go down early to eye doctor and get new reading glasses rush ordered. Lens fell out of frame for second time and
is lost in bed. Style that has fishing line on bottom, keeps falling apart. I'm going to order a really dorky heavy duty frame this time.
I have pretty bad astigmatism so reading glasses help me in addition to making print larger.

Poured first cup of coffee. 58° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 81° with partly cloudy skies. Dr. appointment went good. No need to go back unless pain in foot comes back. Did weekly maintainace on garden pond. Help friend prep his motorhome to sell. Goldfish I put in pond a couple weeks ago are growing fast. Help friend prep his motorhome to sell. Not sure what I will get done today after grocery shopping.

Good morning,
52° now high around 75° mix of sun and clouds and today Winds E 5-10 mph dew point 50° and staying in the mid 50’s.

Yesterday mornings rain (0.53”) ended unexpectedly by 11:00, stayed mostly sunny the rest of the day. Ran a few errands early and sat outside and puttered in the garden and yard.

Today need to get mowing done before the remains of Debby show up later tomorrow evening. That’s about it for today.

76 going to 81, hopefully some rain. Glad to see the mountains are due to get the biggest rain from the storm. They are in severe drought.

Thank you for the prayers for my mother in law. My wife finally came home late yesterday from getting her mom moved back to her place. They "slept" in the hallway in front of the ER nurses' station from Tuesday evening until Wednesday morning at 10am when ambulance transportation could come. No rooms, no transportation for a long time.

Scott, your rocking chair's gonna rock!

LS, hope your wife is still improving.

Mostly, that's a lot of dogs...how many? what breeds?

Took Della on my trail back in the woods for the first time. Was delaying it due to the 3 turkey hens and poults hanging around, and the two spotted fawns and their mom. Haven't seen them in a couple of days, so took a shot...checked trail cams for first time in 3 months, got some bears and all the rest. Not too many deer flies, thank goodness.

Morning all!
55 outside this morning! Will be great going for our daily walk.
Did get all the lights and shower head done yesterday. Started looking at the vanity and said to myself "Nope. That needs to come out and get refurbished".
Sitting in the woodshop now waiting for me to start on it. Managed to install 6 new window shades in a few of the other rooms and helped the wife move some furniture.

Today I will attempt to get the truck fueled up and fill my can for the mower. Sun is supposed to come out for a few hours so will jump on the rider and cut the lawn. After that maybe walk the trimmer around.
Rest of the day will be puttering as the arthritis is complaining with all I've been doing the last couple days.
