Don, sounds like your pain honeymoon is about to end, when block wears off, hope not too bad for you. My shoulder problems hurt a lot so hoping easier on you.
maybe not. the home PT said shoulders are much easier than knees and some people are getting by with no pain pills. don't need pain pills today so plenty to last past Labor Day holiday. PT was a good session showed her my foot anchor on the bed to assist me getting up without using left arm. She liked it a lot. Amazon has them but they are sold out, so I just put a cane under the mattress to hook my foot on to to assist me to a sit up position on the side of the bed.

went though 5 exercises which I needed help with 2 because of the lingering effect of the block and block could last for another 48 hours from today. still no pain after exercises.

Good to hear recovery is going as planned. I was not able to sleep in a bed for 6 months. No matter what position I tried. So glad for my electric operated recliner.

rs, free is always good. Even if nothing is there you've still got the steel and if all else fails the scrap price.

Don, try to extend the pain block as long as you can. It will make the goobers go farther past the weekend.

I have accomplished absolutely nothing today and I am proud of it. ;)

You cannot extend a block without pushing more needles around the spinal cord and then you stop breathing and are on a ventilator. I’m still horse from the ventilator tube that was put down my throat. I’ll be glad when all the numb effects of the block are over even if pain is involved.

96 degrees in Leavenworth Indiana
thankfully the famous prison is in Kansas not here
looked out my window and saw a chemical tanker climb up over curb and come banging down within 30 feet of the rv.
nope, they should have planted trees here as a barrier, not squeeze out another space.

So went inside just as two 66 passenger school busses disgorged some teams and nice lady inside quickly moved me from site 9 to 3, far away from the truck turns. Much better.

everything in the world comes into a Loves to fuel.
could be nuclear waste trucks next, or poison gas.
and I think a little more distance is just what the doctor ordered.

3.19 here for regular, lot more than 2.88 in WV
where's the sign for two buck gas?

California is what worries me, $5+ regular gas

I'll get gas on the way out, not far away.
then off to site 509 at Casino Queen Rv park in East St Louis.
Two days on the tarmac after a day on concrete.
Kinda missing my bucolic country campgrounds...

It was 71°F and partly cloudy this morning, up to 93° right now.

Haven't been on for awhile, indeed, Drew. Lots going on in the Smith camp lately. Three weeks ago today, my youngest stepson was riding his motorcycle to work in the morning when the driver of a semi crossed over into his lane and hit him head-on. He survived, somehow, but ended up losing his left leg up to just below the knee. Five surgeries later, he was finally released from the hospital today and is back home. My Wife has spent more time at the hospital than at home, so I'm sure she's as relieved as he is. Long recovery road ahead for him, but he's still young, so he'll bounce back just fine. He's already trying to figure out what type of prosthetic will best allow him to ride a motorcycle.

I've missed about a month's worth of posts. Hope everyone here is well.

Good evening, gents.
