Morning all!
34 with rain and snow for the day.
Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate!
We spent the day getting everything ready. All that's left is stuffing the bird and putting it in the oven. Usual riff raff will be coming here around 1 am.
Did a bunch of rearranging in the shop this week. Trying to make it easier to keep clean and to find stuff. Also need to make more room for a bigger lathe I have coming.
Working on another paying job. Getting a few prototypes made up to see if one gets picked.
This years table center piece I made is a mini cookie jar. I will be gifting it to my sister in law who collects them. Will attach pic.

Coffee has been poured. 32° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 37° with cloudy skies. Got eve troughs and downspouts cleared out yesterday. Did some reorganizing of power tools in shop. Ready to cook my Thanksgiving Dinner. It will be Ham this year.
Turkey is happy for my dinner selection.

42 light rain not much better than nothing. Very dusty on job blue truck is now brown. Off rest of the week wife woke me up she is back sleeping.

Happy Thanksgiving time for family. Our family immediate is all gone on. Son is not coming home he will figure it out at some point.

Good morning! HAPPY THANKSGIVING! 52˚ North wind, the cold front blew in a few hours ago, it will remain in the 50s all day here. We are heading South taking the cool weather with us to the in-laws.

Mom's cat, Hospice died yesterday, had a good 21 year run He was originally my Dad's cat then my Mom's and then ours for 16 months. May he RIP.

Well it is morning,
Spent much of yesterday prepping for today, two of my daughters came to help prep for today.
One spent the night it's getting close to time to put the turkey and then the ham on. Weather guessers are not giving us a nice forecast for travel in the area; this is the nicest of the 3 I checked this morning.

This is the one that is usually the least inaccurate and it doesn't look nice at all, plus we are at 30F at this time compared to their reading of 34F. We shall see what happens.

Wishing a good Thanksgiving and not too much of a gain on the waist line today.

Kyle, nice score on the boat...sounds like a fun project for you, and maybe your son and daughter.

I'm right there with you guys on the smoke alarms...always at night. Most of ours are on a breaker, and battery backup. Took me a few tries to learn how to reset them when they beep due to low battery...I try to replace the batteries on the solstices, so minimize the dreaded 2am beep.

Don, sorry about Hospice...long life.

Our youngest son and wife from NY arrived about 4am this morning and brought their cat. Will be a first for Della. We're going over to my oldest son and wife's for Thanksgiving meal...first time we get out of the cooking duties.

Yesterday, mowed and mulched leaves with the mower for what should be the final time this year. Used the tractor to bring in a load of firewood...not the final time this year.

It’s 30F, and snowing here. Supposed to snow till 9:00 pm tonight. They’re predicting 8” of snow. I don’t have the snowblower even mounted on the tractor yet. Guess I’ll be working on that this morning
