Good morning!!!!

   / Good morning!!!! #203,781
Got into 60s today, but I was indoors working.
Replaced ceiling fan in our bedroom. I had replaced switch on existing one, but not right switch, so it had High, low, low. I bought another switch months ago to try, but a pain to install so never got to it. I had a new backup fan in the garage for months now, so installed it in our room. This evening, put the old fan on my desk where it was easy to work on it, and i traced out the new switch (no instructions at all with it), determined 4 was common, first pull connected 4-1, second pull 4-3, 4-2, and 2-3, third pull was 4-2, and last pull none connected. Installed in the old fan, will test it tomorrow. The wrong switch traced out as 1 common, then it proceeded connecting to 2,3,4 with each pull, which explains why 2 were low speed, as it never parallels the capacitors. I think i have it so first pull will be no cap, 2nd pull both caps in parallel, 3rd pull one of the caps, then 4th pull is off.
That took all day.

30 outside right now, may get to 50!

Spent all day yesterday in the woods with the chain saw. Then to the log splitter.
Today is more of the same.

Hope all have a great Sunday. Be safe.
you're turning into a lumberjack.

Here's a couple pix of the hike. Longest hike so far for Della. View attachment 2796830View attachment 2796831View attachment 2796832
wow Billy, that really is a crystal clear emerald color. I can only guess it is not frozen due to the flowing spring water? Looks like fun for all.
I'm thankful you can still go hiking like you do. Hope you get the skunk before it gets you or Della.

I got home with the groceries at 5:30pm, sky was blue, temp was 78F, hopped on the motorcycle for a quick ride. It was nice. I do not like riding in town with all the traffic. Oncoming traffic trying to turn left in front of you. I ride with high beams on during the daylight. Sue me.

Fixed 3 tig welding foot pedals at work. Someone did not know how to unscrew cannon connectors. Got practiced up on soldering. Works best with a dab of solder flux acid paste. Would love to buy a used tig welder from school. That's how I got such a good deal on my Millermatic 250

Hope all have a blessed day.
Prayers for our team, our country, Israel and Ukraine.

Don, friend of mine, one of our breakfast bunch, had a stroke day before christmas. His wife is just retired nurse. Ambulance came right away, and he was in hospital probably 30-40 minutes most after it happened, maybe sooner. He said whatever they gave him, it was instant effect on him. He was out in a couple days and has no effects from it. No pulled license, free to drive.
Yes time is a deciding factor since 120 million brain cells die per hour. In Houston they have stroke ambulances that carry tPA to administer if it is a clot in the brain, However if it is a bleeder the tPA will hasten death so they had to put a CT scan in the stroke ambulance. Interesting article:

L4N, how long was it before you sought medical attention when you had your stroke? Any lasting symptoms? Were you confused for a while?
I have a friend, who lives in a rural area, that just had a stroke.
I called 911 about 10 minutes after I fell the first time. I actually fell twice. Junior had helped me to my bed after the first time I fell as I was going to get some clothes on. Got the clothes on and as I was getting up to go back to my chair and post here, that is when I fell the second time. Junior helped me to the chair and I posted on here and then called 911. It is a 45 minute drive to the hospital and the meat wagon didn't waste any time. They spent 10 minutes checking vitals (BP was quite high), then into the wagon and off we went. I did 11 days of physio therapy, the routine they set up for me in the mornings and after lunch I did my own routine with their supervision.

The only confusion was from the 911 operator that I couldn't convince that I was the victim. My speech was NOT slurred. She had asked me if "the victims speech was slurred", I responded with do I sound like my speech is slurred? She said, "not you, the victim".
I told her again a little more forcefully, "I AM THE VICTIM".
I almost asked her if she was naturally stupid or did she have to work on it.

I am a little bit weaker on the right side than the left.
The left side of the brain controls the right side of the body AND speech.

I used to say that I had 2 brains, one is lost and the other has gone out looking for it. lol

Billy, if you trap the skunk in a live trap, put a towel that you don't want anymore over the trap after he/she is caught and settled down a bit, then carry it to where ever you want to release it. A skunk with its' tail down and facing you wont spray. If they raise their tail then you had better get out of there fast. A skunk walking/waddling away from you with its' tail down wont spray either. If a skunk doesn't feel threatened, then they wont spray.
I have been nose to nose with 2 skunks in my life and I just talked to them in a calm voice and left them alone. They disappeared.
