Good evening all. 49ºF for the start, partly cloudy sky, light breeze. Wind 10-25 mph, gusts to 35 mph, sky clouded up, and high temp was 78ºF. Made coffee for start, no grief share, moderator had another commitment. Bike ride early to beat worst of the wind, trip to town for lunch and groceries. Short nap then mow Front lawn, found golf balls to go with the 6 from yesterday. Tried to update truck map, download was faulty, try 2 was good will run it during drive to bike shop tomorrow. Rain in forecast tonight, tomorrow night,Thursday morning, Friday all day, and Saturday morning, with 3+ inched forecast. That will fill the lake. Pic is derailleur after mounting bracket failed, it is upside down and backwards and jammed into spokes.
Bill hope the cat nap(s) were good. The timing of carbon tax removal is good for you. Hope the town run was successful.
Ron isn't that hoe it goes, once you order the new one, the old one shows up. Hope clean up went well on pond. Nice squirrel pic,

Billy sorry about the eye dilation, did that earlier this year. I wear the sexy eye shades inside my glasses to maximize the darkening. Hope the arbor is coming along.

Kyle hope the bulb replacement helps, sounds like some work getting to them. Before you put new bulbs in socket use multimeter and check for loose wires, grounds, etc.
Drew glad you got RV moved and setup. Hope you can get it shined up as well. Sorry detailer ghosted you.
RNG Glad showing went well and Realtor working with you to get the listing shaped up. It would be nice if lady haul off swing set.

Bill when I lived in St Louis I was as far west as PJ is east of St. Louis, and closet E0 gas was 100 miles away. Sorry income tax refund less than hoped. Hope good rabbit hole.

WOW! That is some mess, mostly.

Trip up to North Bay was expen$ive for a guy in a Ford pickup. I was doing 120 (74.6 mph)in a 100 kph (62.5 mph) zone and he went by me like I was up on blocks. Had his tailgate down and nothing holding the stuff down in the box. I'll bet the cop had a field day with him. I could see three charges as he went by me. On top of speeding, insecure load and obstructed license plate.(Tailgate was down)
Picked up a tube of water detecting paste and a 1 3/8" doweling 6' long for dipping the big tank. The tank is empty (pump wont pickup oil) and there is 14" left in the tank. I may have to get a longer suction pipe for the pump.
Next dry day we get I will take the gauge out and put the whistle in for the fuel guy.
The house tank (200 gallon) is angled towards the suction line which is on the bottom of the tank, so I am not worried about water in that tank. I also keep it full and it is not in direct sunlight, being on the north side of the house.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 34° with light snow this morning. Heading to 50° with thunderstorms. Another searching day yesterday. Could not find suction pump to remove oil from mower gearbox. Trip to Menard's got me a new one. Old one did not appear when I got home. Probably threw the old one out because it was plastic and old. No plans for today. Weather will decide if get anything done today.
Look both ways before crossing road.

weather sure is going up and down, warmer weather ahead, but then next week I see 28 degrees.
until then I'll put my bean pots outside for a little natural sun.

driving a Nissan Rogue loaner car, geez that cvt trans is strange to drive. Not a substantial feeling car, will be glad to give it
back today, hopefully car will be done at dealer. They called last night and said they had received the wrong parts and had to wait for right
ones today. ok

I'm off after it warms up a little to go to rv and give it a bath. Also taking pastry to lady at office who is the one giving out my promo sheets on the
rv. Good person to keep happy....

hopefully remainder of roses show up today. I offered to give one to my two helpful gardener friends who watered my gardens while I was away.
They both were delighted so I have found homes for my two extra roses. I've now planted an even dozen rose bushes so landlady said she might have to rename this little house Rose Cottage. ?

You two Deck Brothers are making good progress!

Spent most of yesterday cutting cedar down and limbing. Brought a nice, and hopefully final load of 10 to 25 foot lengths up on the tractor. Had to hand carry them through the woods to the edge of the field since they are so long.

Based on the weather forecast, I may put the bush hog on today and start the annual cutting.

Seems like the 5+ years were getting more ice storms than snow another freezing rain arriving later tonight.

Good Morning,
Vt, 20 to start going to 43, with partial or muted sun this morning. Looks like snow coming in tonite, hopefully not much.

I’m not rushing outside with the temps this morning. After breakfast I will head down to the lumber supply to buy some kind of tape.
Dennis I wish I could have ordered that tape before coming up here but if I’m going to get any at Trex laid down I have to buy something. The only spot on the joists that have any signs of rot is where that rubber mat was laying in front of the atrium doors. I’m guessing that mat wasn’t allowing the wood to dry. . My neighbor up here used Gorilla Tape and seems to think that’s the way to go.

Mostly, sorry to hear about your bike issues. I’m guessing with your experience it was straightened out pretty quick.

Billy, sounds like you’ve been busy hauling logs out of the woods. I’m guessing you’re sleeping well at night. I know I slept good last night but my body is still aching from yesterdays deck work .

Happy, we will want some pictures when the pipe goes into the river, that sounds like quite an undertaking.

Thomas and NHBX, hopefully the weather isn’t too bad for us tonite.
