Cool here this am, looks like rain later. Busy day at the shop today. I'd like to work on the garden a bit this weekend, it may work out?

Good morning all. 50F this morning forecast for 65F and some clearing. However yesterday high was 7F below forecast and the clearing did not happen and actually had some rain. Sold the tractor, he will come pick it up today, that will be hard over 15 years of faithful service.

Good Morning. 0930, overcast, 59F with 79% humidity. Forecast high of 69F with rain chances at 74% now, dropping to 3% by 1700 this afternoon, and a low of 54F with 2% chance of rain tonight. It is pretty chilly out this morning, but the rain has stopped. The Chipola River has leveled off at 26.15' and is forecast to rise less than a foot before it crest on Sunday. I hope the rain is through for a week or two. I'm tired of all this high water.

I found some speckled pea seed in an old tool box and I'm heading to the garden to plant them. Just a handful of seed, but I love the dark peas. Adds some color to the soup.

67F and only 4.67 inches rain yesterday. None since midnight and sunny this morning.

Was a productive inside day yesterday, getting the shop cleaned up a bit, things put back where they belong.

Off to Dr today, just a followup from previous, no complaints or concerns. Actually feel the best I have in years. Would like to lose another 20-25 lbs, but taking the slow approach.

Good morning, 46F heading to 57F, got my son's old bedroom cleaned out last night, now I can paint both ceiling and walls and that will be 1 room done and 3 to go. Doing all this work just to move is criminal.

When we moved from our previous house in Ga I did the painting, all new carpet, and final fixes after wife had moved. Looked so good, I made the mistake of commenting to wife that this was the house she should have lived in - she didn't seem to appreciate that LOL

You know, David...one of the issues we have with the houses we actually LIVE IN is that we don't want to go through all the bother of moving everything out so we could work on a project. My ex was constantly telling me we needed to put new carpet down and paint the third bedroom, but she had so much crap piled up in there you could barely see the top two feet of the walls, let alone the floor.

You know, David...one of the issues we have with the houses we actually LIVE IN is that we don't want to go through all the bother of moving everything out so we could work on a project. My ex was constantly telling me we needed to put new carpet down and paint the third bedroom, but she had so much crap piled up in there you could barely see the top two feet of the walls, let alone the floor.

So very very true. In our current house we have stained concrete floors in need of rewaxing, but I'm deterred by having to move everything. It is on my list for this summer.
I apply a commercial liquid, 5 coats allowed to dry in between. Does look good after

Busy day today, kinda tired. Tommorrow, I am tilling a garden for a neighbor, as long as it isn't raining. I have a little more plumbing work to do, then maybe straighten up the shop?
