Good morning!!!!

   / Good morning!!!! #214,712
Morning all, 53 to 63 and more rain, got 1.25" already in the last day or so.
Did not get leaves pushed as it starting raining at 2, not the forecasted 5pm
I did paper thin slice a mess of apples for the wife to bake into 2 very nice pies for thanksgiving.
Son came home yesterday so we went out to dinner.
Today, busy with the day job then turkey day and Friday off.

Be well,

We used to drive over and hour to pick up the pre-made version of this, wife figured out the recipe and now made at home. The last time we drove all the way for one, they had run out, even though we called to tell them we were coming to get one.
I hand peel and slice 8 large apples paper thin to get them to kind of melt into the pie, wife assembles and makes the topping and bakes. She uses less fat/sugar so they don't bother me too much.

Save a slice for me!!!

Rinse and repeat. Woke up with sore throat from congestion sliding down the ol' esophagus. Muscles on sides of torso/ lower back still sore all the way down to my hips.

Ron, we have a lot of papers to sort. I usually put them in large shoe boxes with the year written on the side.

Some really good college football games this weekend. Looking forward to watching many of them. Rivalry weekend.

Watched an old video on how to use a slide rule. Old school analog for gozentas.

BEF, hope shoulder pain subsides. Friend had to get his done operated on. Got a sports surgeon in Houston to do it. Put it in a sling and couldn't lift anything for months. Much better now. He can do 12oz curls better than ever.

I'm ordering a grease fitting kit on Amazon. There was a kit made of all brass but had 13% bad ratings saying they broke easily. Only need a handful of them right now but frustrating when you need one and don't have one.

52F going to 64, so cooler than yesterday.

Hope you all have a blessed day. So much to be thankful for. Prayers for our team, our nation, and peace in the world.

Good morning TBN!!
56 this morning going to 75. The rest of the forecast has us in the 40s.

Good day yesterday. It rained a while. Hard enough to get through burning. Really needed it!
Spent most of the day prepping the floor pan for some paint. Got the old cross member out and am getting pretty close to putting a new one in.
That is the plan today if I get the floor pan where I want it to be.
Had our turkey last night as we are going to eat one at my GS house. It was great. I insist one one every year for just of the two of us just for the leftovers :) Usually between 15 and 20#.

Second cup is gone.
Everyone have a great and safe day!!

good morning all
and a warm morning it is, the last one...going up to 63 today in clouds
and then winter arrives for good with snow in forecast for next week.
It's almost December, tis the season.

another trip to shower in middle of night for locked up muscles.
tonight going to drink an entire bottle of water before I go to bed.
Would rather get up to do that than sit in shower with hot water running on leg.
that is really getting old, plus it hurts.
and another sandwich today with lots of mustard. Bringing out all the big guns.

started a big project in the house, one I am years behind on.
Cleaning up my office.
all the rooms in this little cottage are the way they should be, except for dumping ground in office.
So I bought myself a nicer side table and moved huge piles of paper so I could start to work on them
Have to take contents of file cabinet out, throw out most, and put recent stuff in.
a seriously boring job I unfortunately have to do myself.
I made the mess, I have to clean it up.
The new table looks very nice, promise when all picked up will take a pic
and considering the size of this mess, that might be a while.

I have always said I'm a much better piler than filer.

my other project is the pot hanging hooks in kitchen, Freud cutter due in today

came up with solution for rv vent cap blown off. Rv going into storage next Monday.
On way in stopping at my friend's coffee business whose son said they have a 12 foot door, and if I
backed the motorhome in their company garage, he could work on it safely there.
marvelous.
Have you ever tried an organic magnesium supplement? (E.g. Magnesium citrate or magnesium gluconate? A number of the inorganic versions, e.g. magnesium oxide, have next to no bioavailability.

Night time cramps seem to run in the family, and extra magnesium seems to help us.

@wngsprd sorry- my bad, I guess it was Scott.

Have a great Thanksgiving all! To me, it is a gift to be able to celebrate being thankful.

All the best,

Peter

my stepbrother in Aldie VA with the Model As sent this out to family
he is not one to photoshop so I wonder how he did it.
think that one would break a spring
almost looks too perfect
won't be the first time for fake foam pumpkins

sadly way too much of youtube is fake.
particularly some of the nice stuff I like to watch, like animal rescue.
what will clutch at your heart strings the most and of course, ring my bell
for monetization

local flower ship didn't have enough redimades, granted last minute, so I put in an order for
a little arrangement to be picked up this afternoon.
Meantime right after lunch I pick up my landlady and take her for a ride up the river and back

good morning, started at 38 and going to 58 nice but cold weather is coming our way. Also FC for snow on Tuesday

Was hoping to avoid driving in ice and snow for the Cardio Dr appointment on Tuesday

Moved firewood, walked the steps and did the household chores this morning

Had a scary moment with wife choking on food. Sitting in easy chair with legs lifted made it hard to help but a few slaps on the back got it dislodged fortunately

Worked on an order for electrical supplies. Need to check it over again before finalizing. Using 6 gauge 3 conductor for the 50 amp welding outlet. Less that 25 ft 8 gauge could be used maybe

Kyle good example of forging is the post vise I just mounted. 100 lbs of forgings strong enough to take heavy hammer blows that would damage a regular vise.

Slide rules combined with logarithmic tables was used during my school years for complex calculations. Borrowing a calculator as big as a bread box was like cheating when taking professional exam. Not sure I remember how to do it anymore but I still have the German slide rule

Today we be dedicated to prep for TDay

Prayers for all
Be safe
