Coffee has been poured. 31° with snow this morning. Heading to 34° with wind and continued snow. Little over 5" of snow since yesterday afternoon. May get another 1". Got Christmas tree up yesterday. Helped neighbor get snowplow on his tractor. Then moved his 2 military trailers to a new storage location. When done it had started to snow. When snow stops later today will plow walkways and drive. That will be it for today.

good morning all
29 out now going up into 40s with rain coming in later today
radar shows snow to west and South, with higher temps here keeping it rain
not going to be a christmas light day, glad I got some up yesterday, a few inflatables and some
light strings.

maybe it's a sign of age but I find I keep turning up the thermostat a little or I seem colder now.
used to be 72 was wasteful..not now. Thankfully have an electric radiator a few feet away in the office and
that keeps the floor and my legs/feet warm.
Only time I feel really warm is baking in front of a fireplace.
so you guys with wood
stoves, throw another log on and warm us all up.

Ron, I got my tree up too, and went through a lifetime of old ornaments, made two boxes out of four, giving a
big bag of unwanted ornaments to SIL. At least I found my stocking. Mice had gotten into the box, what a mess.
Once up, I leave my indoor and outdoor xmas lights on all the time; not sure outside inflatables will rise up properly now that they are roped
in against the wind. Only problem is fans in those things, after a year or two, while amazing they still run, are a little noisy.
They sit on my front doorstep which is outside my bedroom so I can hear the fans run at night. Turned into ok white noise quickly.
this stuff uses so little electricity any more that isn't the issue. I felt all the bulbs in the strings and no heat at all.

If and when the SE Ridge breaks down Katie Bar The Door for the Mid Atlantic North East. The signs are getting stronger and stronger

Forgot to give Holly her pills oh my never ever do that again been up since 3:00 now she is calm and almost asleep

Drew I still enjoy 69 for home setting and if it gets colder logs come on. A number of years ago about 35 we took turns keeping fireplace going she got bit by Brown Recluse Spider. Had to remove large section of flesh from her arm no more wood burning for us

Drew, house temperatures are 71° during daytime. 68° at night. 71° is good for me if in recliner. If doing things like cleaning with vacuum it is too warm. So I lower temperature with iPhone for 1 hour to 68°.

Buppies, that was to me the only downside of burning with wood...the mess and stuff that drops off and for
sure bugs that crawl out in the heat. Like from the white cottony balls/egg sacks stuck on log, with a very uninvited friend
inside.

next Tuesday was supposed to have old friend come for lunch, vegetarian who I made home made mushroom soup for.
Forecast is not good, did not want her driving in that, so I'm driving there, not far, pretty close to Ken's home.
She's the sweetest old hippy grandmother type who won't own a microwave, that dates her...so I have to take the soup warmed up.
need to put a hot pot inside a larger pot I think

I really need to put more clothes on, create my own problems honestly. Should spend day in my fleece and lower house temp.
maybe...

Good morning TBN!!
36 this morning and won't make it to 50 with rain possible later.

Never got on the computer yesterday.
Friday wasn't much, A little puttering and fiddling with sandblaster. Gave up.
Out and about yesterday. Mostly running errands. Stopped by TSC for a safe deal For Black Friday. Not much of a Winchester safe but will serve my needs. At least my toys are secure now.
Got home and got it unloaded and unpacked and that was pretty much the whole day.
Turkey sandwiches for dinner and then held down the recliner for a while before bed.

Time for a second cup

Fuddy, those are masterpieces for you...family heirlooms. She was quite the artist.

Buppies, sorry you forgot to give Holly her medicine...you could set a daily calendar appointment that will alarm on your smartphone to remind you. Sorry UVA spanked VT. I think my son went to the game.

Took Della on our usual hike and swim. It was cold and the park was empty, so let her off leash for first 2 miles and I think she ate something bad...acted strange last night. This happened once before in the mountains and she slept at the emergency vet that night...they never found anything wrong, but guessed at a couple things. I took her hiking again around here with the flashlight last night and she acted normal. We've had 2 bears around this week, so flashlight stayed busy.

We finished our Thanksgiving leftovers last night. I need some Tex-Mex.

Good Morning from Central Texas,
The weather station says 45 degrees with a 32 dew point. Fairly gusty N / NE winds. Yesterday topped out at 76 degrees, so it feels cold. Guess will get some indoor work done today. The front came thru without any good rains which we need Very badly.
