Good morning!!!!

My cordless impact is DeWalt 20v, rated for 400lb/ft.

Hawkeye, have fun on your camping trip. I almost bought this, which I think is/was the top rated cordless unit, but soldiered on with my old electric Dewalt
rated at 350. So far it has worked just fine on mower bolts and I keep the socket for the primary mower on the unit plugged in.
So I'm ready to go. I bought the 1/2 Earthquake air gun and really should try that next
blade change. Have both electric and air in my barn work area. But haven't switched to air yet except for the air blaster for cleaning.
I don't do tractor wheels and heavy duty work at all, so 700+ pounds for the big boys would need to get dialed down anyway.
so Hawkeye has your cordless impact gun been stumped yet?

I also have a new cordless Makita hammer drill rated at over 400 foot pounds. Uses my growing supply of their batteries for
a whole bunch of household and woodshop tools. I think I might try that also just for fun.
I think to get the lightest tool weight, the air tool would get the nod. With the cordless next. That corded unit is
really heavy... And when underneath a mower deck light is good. I sharpen my blades once a month when the lawn is going nuts from rain like it
has here locally lately so I'm ready to make the switch to something lighter. Dryer weather ahead it seems.

2nd cup of coffee and some food is sounding good to a grumbling stomach right now. Up too early. Definite no guilt nap day when it's
just too hot to be outside anyway unless you really have to be. Siesta time.

Too hot to mess with mower right now, if I was not so lazy, I would get up early when it is cool and work on it awhile before I start my job for the day... both of my impacts did not touch (could not loosen) the mower bolts. I can't justify another impact gun so will figure this out another way when I get back to it.

The weather is hot here (90s) but at least for now it is cooling off at night. This weather reminds me of growing up on farm and having layers of clothes, starting at 4am (or earlier depending on what work we had planned) and as it warmed up taking layers off until it was too hot to work outside around 12-1pm... The wheat fields around us with a few fields of peas or hay have smells that remind me of growing up also.

Have a great day!

Trug
noun, British.
1.
a shallow basket for carrying flowers, vegetables, etc., made from strips of wood.
2.
a shallow wooden milk pan.
3.
a wooden tray for holding mortar.

Door 1 likely.
We need a pic full of flowers and more sheep pics please.
Though your wife with a trug full of flowers would just be a radiant beauty to behold.
Try that out on her...;)

Just in case Eric's wife's flowers are not in bloom yet, {after all his summer just started this week} here is a trug with flowers. He can just cut and paste his wife's pretty face in the background:eek:

Good Morning. 1110, a passing shower, 88F {HI 104} with 75% humidity. Forecast high of 87F with 40% chance of rain today, and a low of 72F tonight. Those are Marianna numbers. The rain has cooled things down here. At least for now.

I took the day off from doing the weekly shopping. Thought about putting the kayak in the river. Worked in the garden instead. 2nd planting of sweet corn didn't do much this year, but it's ready. I ate a couple ears raw. Pretty good. We're having sausage dogs, Thai Cucumber salad and Jalapeno poppers for supper. Now I foresee a side of corn on the cob on the plate too.

You guys have a good one,

Larro

111 heat index here now, just no sense going outside
Just watched a movie, enjoying some quiet time inside
thanks for all the tips on gatorade. I tried a Frost something today and it
was better than orange.
Now the question is regular or Diet; think I'll stick with diet if it's splenda or stevia sweetened.
I really do feel better after drinking one, particularly if I've been sweating heavily, as i was today
greasing and working on machinery. It got so hot I put a fan on me,
but when even that didn't feel cool anymore, time
to come in.

At one point today it was cloudy and 88°, but the heat index was 102°, dew point was like 78°.

I wonder what criteria this article used for the ranking. If it's sales volume, no wonder my least favorite flavors (fruit punch, lime, and orange) round out the top four. In many stores, those are the ONLY flavors available!

As for my tastes, all my faves seem to be in the bottom ten, with my best fav, melon, right down there at number 20. I guess this should be a huge warning not to take my advise on Gatoraid flavors!

I'm not sure but it said they actually taste tested them. So then again maybe it's just personal preference.

Glacier Freeze is one of my favorites.

94 here today, but less humid than yesterday. Orange and grape are my favorite Gatorade flavors.
Still waiting for a new fuel tank for my string trimmer to arrive. Been a couple weeks since i ordered it.

Good Morning. Ya'll got room for one more at the table?
I work out on the road alone and enjoy reading this thread as I'm gone a month or two at a time.
Live in Wister Ok and have a Kubota L3301.
Getting packed up to fly from Abilene Tx back to Great Falls,Mt. Get to dodge a bit of this heat!
Just wanted to say hi. With that first cup of coffee and catching up with you guys makes it seem like home.
Lenny
Welcome! What type of work takes you to Mt?

There does come a time when a fan just blows hot air around.

I find that my critical temp of fan blowing hot air on me is about 98-on up, depending on humidity.

Where did you order it from? Seems a long time to get something in nowadays. I had to replace a chainsaw fuel line a few years back, and they wanted like $4 for a new fuel line cut to the right length. Well, thinking that I have 2 chainsaws, a blower, and a nice stringtrimmer with accessories, I just ordered a roll for $20 something and now I have about 25 feet of that oddball sized hose. :)

It is so hot down here, I saw my pet roadrunner carrying around an oven mitt pad.

We are liking the Amazon Echo fairly well. It seems to have a bit more bass than I like, which is saying something coming from a 3 1/2" speaker. I will try to adjust it. You can have it set alarms to wake up with, etc... You can just say "play some Stevie Windwood" and it happens.

I drink G2, low calorie Gatorade, limited flavor a most places, I like orange, grape, lemon-lime, melon, cool blue, no particular order.

BTW, I finally finished watching the Justified series. Really good, but they could have cleaned it up just a tad. I needed a Chinese abacus to keep count of all the people killed. No way I could have watched that on regular TV, having to wait a whole week between episodes, I would have forgot who all got killed the previous week and by whom.

So what should I watch now since it is so hot outside?

/ Good morning!!!! #48,076
Since i posted, i got an email it has shipped. Yes, a long time. Really only need the fuel line, but it broke (dry rot, very old) multiple places including inside the tank. Don't know how to put a new one on inside the tank. New tank with hoses was $17 so i went the easy way.

Ran my L3940 for first time in about 3 months. Wow, way too long. Been mowing with my small massey ferguson. Anyways, wheel bolts loose again. Had to tighten same 4 the last time.

Good evening all. 76F this morning, clear and calm. Got yesterday's ride in early, and got some consulting in. Made it to 92F lower temps due to thunderstorms in area, and even got .1 in rain.

Good morning all, 69 here this morning going to 88 with a 60% chance of thunderstorms. Got two sprinkles yesterday, the 2nd one would have gotten you wet but only lasted about 5 min. Ended up driving over to Bumpass and bought 3 old hand plains and 3 hand saws yesterday. Came home and swam with wife and took it easy. Going into town today to pick up a few things.

Lenny, Welcome to the Good Morning Crew. Hope you enjoy.

Drew I like mango as well, just never can find it.

Have a great day Ed
