Wife's ENT visit a non event yesterday. Dr saw no reason for her to even be there.
Wife not happy that it took more than an hour to be seen given she was on time for appointment, which meant 15 minutes early as she was a new patient. Don't think she'll be returning any time soon.

Home trying to recover from spinal fusion surgery. Dr placed me in a back brace and saidI would have to
wear it for the next 8 weeks. No bending no picking anything heaver than a milk jug. Should be a fun next 8 weeks. Now I have a good excuse for not doing anything.
Anyway life is good.

Nice, Don! Hard to argue with that kind of temperature in December. We got up to 43° here today, a bit warmer than expected. Unfortunately, I'm stuck inside an office. Hope you're enjoying that weather for the rest of us, too.

David, a couple mice took up residence in my wife's car a while back, and I just caught them with snap traps and peanut butter spread on half a chocolate covered raisin (she didn't want to use the black snake that hangs around ). I just put them under the seat. I don't know of a preventative.

Wngsprd, Wife's niece and family borrowed her brothers truck and a blacksnake fell out from under the dash on the drivers feet and was "quite mad". They were trying to drive with their feet up on the seat and hit a tree. So, I would vote against the black snake too!

Kyle. This house had become painful, every time I turned off a light I got shocked from the plate screw, and my wife and I grab an arm or something before a kiss. A static pop on the lips in no fun.

Humidity - Houston we have a problem.
Our church organ organ- is getting too much. (above 75% on cold wet days) And things are starting to stick. The organ is 96 years old. There has only been central air and heat in the building for about 30 of those 96 years. (What did they do the first 66 years?) I got a 70 pt dehumidifier for it an will plumb it so the water will drain outside during the week. The central air-conditioning is turned on only on Sunday.

On the home front,
the best humidity for a house should be between 35% and 45%.
Mine is 49% now, what is yours?

That whole area is expensive. And has really grown in the last 20 yrs.

16°F this morning and clear skies, going up to 39° today. Supposed to be warming a bit this week. iThingie forecast is calling for 59° and rain on Xmas day.

I'll have to check out your thread, Drew. We're looking at a new zero-turn for next season, and there's a Gravely dealer a few miles from us.

Our church has gravely ZT, nice mower.
