Good morning all, 2" of snow over night, 15F now heading to 28F. Having all the kids over for dinner, roast with potatoes and carrots, daughter always likes it when the wife cooks a roast.

Interesting. I just deleted my previous post with no problems. Using Foxfire on a Window 7 notebook.Doesn't work. All I can do is change the text and save it. Clicking the DELETE button in the EDIT POST dialog brings up a DELETE POST button that doesn't do anything but return me to the list of posts, and that list still contains the duplicate. This has been going on a while here at TBN, and I thought the sys admins were aware of it...
Check out the EDIT option. One of the items to click is DELETE.What the heck is going on with these double posts?
Even worse, it's not possible to delete them!
I haven't used it recently, but checking the "Delete Message" box, then "Delete Post" has worked for me.
The dup post thing has been around forever. I take it it is not fixable.

I've used the "Delete Post" feature a few times last week...works fine for me (using Firefox as a browser). Something fairly new is the duplicate post won't necessarily follow the original post...might skip two or three posts.
This problem hasn't been around "forever"...just since TBN upgraded to a new forum application...which, apparently, has a few bugs.
Such as it did when I submitted this post (immediately above). If you get a popup asking if you want to "leave this page"...odds are you'll get duplicate posts.
two hours of planting trees and shrubs all by myself was enough. My younger helper was called off when I found that the remaining fifteen or so fruit tree holes were now little swimming pools. The water level must be one foot down; found this digging in another area where I frantically first thought I hit a water line. I'm scooping water and mud out for ten minutes with a plastic bucket, got covered in mud head to toe, and didn't accomplish much, still water at the bottom. Sure can't plant into that, will rot the roots. The question is, when is that water level going down?
Well I got four rose bushes, three ornamental trees, and about six fruit trees planted.
Likely a good quota for the day. Got to keep the boss man happy.
More rain coming next week, but Wed predicted to be 75 here. 75. Has a nice warm ring to it.
