Place and compact more gravel then grass mowing time, weed eating stick pick up etc. on waiting list for new 29HP efi motor for Z-Turn should last till we're too old to use and will sell 44in walk behind. Breakfast is ready can surely tell by wonderful smells coming fro kitchen

Coffee has been poured. 65° with lots of clouds this morning. Heading to 70° (Truth or Consequence, NM) with clouds most of the day. All packed up and ready to leave when wife gets up. Should be a little cooler in NM. Its at a elevation of 4,300'.

Good Morning. 0820, overcast, 67F with 99% humidity. Forecast high of 79F with 100% chance of rain today, and a low of 67F tonight. We had a serious storm yesterday afternoon. It didn't rain long, but it dumped a lot of water. My garden has gullies washed out in it.

I'm off today and we are going to do a Lowe's run here shortly. Need more plumbing supplies for the grapevine waterlines. I keep adding lines and spigots, so I'm going to 3/4" for the main supply line with 1/2" line and spigots coming off it. I'm up to 15 spigots, so the $2.00 I save on each one with the smaller size could add up to money before I'm through.

This is a F1 weekend, so I woke up to the Chinese Grand Prix waiting for me on the DVR. Almost through watching. Been a good race so far, with Hamilton holding the Prancing Horses at bay.

57 this morning and headed to 78 today. Another nice sunny day. Have to go walk birds then off to funeral home again today. Did manage to get two trees cut yesterday those wild cherries that I'd been wanting cut for oh all winter. One was about 18" & the other was about 25". Should be about 30 feet of logs in each. Got to looking and have several more that really needs to go but I don't have the space for that much lumber.

Sickle bar type cutters and rocks don't mix well. Don, if your ditch didn't have rocks, I'd recommend a small sickle bar for behind your tractor. Do any of your relatives have an old one lying around?

Motogp motorcycle road racing just down the road in Austin today. Comes on one of the fox sport channels at 2pm central (I think). Double check your listings. These are the fastest riders in the world, going over 200mph on the back 3/4 mile straight.

Sickle bar type cutters and rocks don't mix well. Don, if your ditch didn't have rocks, I'd recommend a small sickle bar for behind your tractor. Do any of your relatives have an old one lying around?

Yep, my Dad has one but the it will not work, it is too long to let float and the ground going up to the fence is too steep and there are too many stumps that need a few more years to rot. It will have to be hand trimmed or not trimmed - not is looking better all the time. This may be a once a year project with the round blade in the late Fall just to keep the woody growth in check.

Maybe the county will come out and mow their right of way.

and while washing the house decks off, I found two exceptionally friendly critters, a baby green frog and a little green gecko.
The gecko wanted no part of my hose washing, but the silly frog would not get out of the way; must have really liked it there, or was sick. So I went around him basically and now I can sit out tonight on the front porch swing and not get covered in pollen.

came in for lunch, now off again to get some seat time on the garden tractor putting down four bags of Scotts weed and feed southern version. I don't think the last batch worked that well; now the weeds are very defined and I'm making sure I go over every patch of them. Then let's see what comes back up. I really hate to use lawn chemicals but the invasive weeds here coming out of the woods are remarkable.

Then once that is done, it's chill out time.
200 mph on a motorcycle. Now there's a bit of risk.
