He certainly had well maintained machinery and some of those are heritage pieces.
On Saturday they are having a sale of his equipment. This is the auctioneer's catalogue, typical of that produced for most farm dispersal sales in this part of the world.

Weather looks set to be good for Saturday so there will probably be quite a crowd there. I now have two days left to practise keeping still with my hands in my pockets for when the auctioneer looks my way.

I see there are grease guns in the auction. :laughing:

Good evening all. Spent the last 1 1/2 days with my brother while he recovers from surgery( it was successful). Weather has been nice, about 78 for a high today

. got a ride in today, we were going to clean up the back flower bed but she ran of "gas"

. Back home now back to the "routine" tomorrow.

I got the rest of the blueberry bushes planted this morning. When I was in town I ran by Lowe's. Had thought about getting a couple more of theirs, but BIL had already clocked out, and if I can't get a discount, I wait until another day. I doubt I could have got anymore planted before dark anyway.

Here is one of the plants Sister potted for me. I saw a couple of blooms, so who knows. Maybe a blueberry or two this year. Even if they don't, Sister's bushes produced about 10-15 gallons last year.

39F. Upper 60's today with a chance of rain.

A low fever and cough chased me around yesterday afternoon so I went to bed at 8pm. Now I'm wandering the house like a zombie. I did beat Roy though, so that's some consolation.

Boy, I woke up with a severely swollen upper lip. No pain, but not idea what caused it either.

It is 63 with a high of 81 and sever thunder storms on the way. Next 3 days have light rain. Supposed to drive over to a neighbors to pick up an auger and thinking it might be easier to do on the tractor. I am going to drive to Wally World in Chiefland and need to swing into the vets office there to pick up some medicine for my DIL's dog. Maybe I will stop at the produce stand there and pick up some broccoli for salad on Saturday.
