Gary, line up and running?

Good morning, 71F heading to 90F today with a chance of thunder storms.

Rush, rush, rush to get line ready and then nothing. Suppose to run and debug today.

Bought lights for the bike so I can ride to work in the dark, they worked great this morning but I forgot to wear my reflective vest, need all the reflection I can get if riding in the dark. How dumb can I be. Doctor says blood pressure is great, must be from all the bike riding I'm doing.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 66° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 87° with heavy thunderstorms forecast in the afternoon. Picking up my sister at the airport today. Hope to get lawn cut before storms hit.
Gary, I did line startups at this time of every year for 40 years. I was from the machinery manufacturer. Do not miss the tension when line did not start on time.
Good Morning All.

Good Morning All.

Well we got our end done, just need the guys who built the equipment to get it running. It ran at their shop so it shouldn't be too many problems.:confused2:

well, one change of clothes down...crawling around on a dirt floor, with a pad, changing the oil on the mower, Rotella T 15/40, greasing it and then sharpening the blades. All under the mower held up by the FEL. With really big jackstands used, based on the bad experiences of others recently.

that cup of coffee went down nicely. Now back to mowing the fields, which will only take an hour or so. I did some heavy trimming with the lawn mower so the field mowing will go easily. Kinda nice when you don't have to make any sharp turns and can leave it on cruise control.

Once I'm done mowing the fields, time to get the tractor serviced. I try to do that every 100-125 hours. They change the cab air filters which really makes a big difference when mowing. It is surprising how clean the air is in there despite clouds of dust swirling around the tractor.

Don't work to hard before your big date.

77 this morning and headed to 95 today. Another very humid day also. Last chance of rain is today for the next week. All we've been getting are teasers. Wet ground 3-4 times a day. Rain gauge not even registering it.

Mowers still down hope to get it back up today. Borrowed a finish mower does a nice job and will out mow my z turn. I hope so it's 2 feet wider. Just not as maneuverable and I've got some places that it's too wide for. But gives me the idea of maybe using my mower for trimming to help save some hours. I estimate around 1500-2000 hours on the mower. No hour meter.

Today it's fix my mower and finish mowing. Have a hired hand coming over to weedeat. Plus take care of birds. Then go get lumber for building.

Drew. Good luck with your blind date.

Wow, it has literally been a month since I last read this page, I'm over 880 posts out of touch!

Truly I hope all here are well and Drew's date is fun.

Holy cow!

I'm still alive. I proposed to my GF on 7/9 in the middle of a Karaoke song, Wedding is end of Nov.

I bought the dirty hands splitter at lowes, and the CS400 saw at HD, but I'm way behind on my firewood due to needing to work on my rentals. I'm gonna sell my FarmBoss and pick up a pro Stihl 261 from a TBN'r. I've got my rusty truck running (mostly) again. Still stalls out in traffic though, and I picked up a used wood large play structure for my kids and will be setting that up soon.

Work is slowly getting better, the Ex and my oldest keep messing with me by opening false abuse or neglect claims and I've retained my lawyer AGAIN for expected custody issues...

I'm off again now, hopefully not for a MONTH! But who knows...

Be well all & God Bless all!
David

Good Morning. 1015, sunny, 87F {100F HI} with 72% humidity. Forecast high of 94F with 60% chance of thunderstorms today, and a low of 75F tonight.

Yesterday's trip to the clinic in Marianna was a waste. The lady told me right away she couldn't treat it, but we had a nice visit anyway, talking about gardening and eating healthy. Did the shopping, then hit a couple of Blountstown Dr's offices. They were both so full there was no way they could see me, so I ended up going to the ER. The Dr there told me it was a round worm, most likely from cats using the garden as a sand box. He told me to use gloves when gardening and wrote my a Px for 6 tablets. Margie went to pick them up because I had to get back to work. She almost had a heart attack when they told her it would be $787.18. The folks at Blountstown Drugs did a lot of searching and came up with another drug that would work. 5 pills you take at one time for $18. I took them last night and my hand is looking better this morning. My BIL said he buys the 1st drug in liquid form for his dogs for just a few dollars a pint. So if it doesn't get gone fast, I may be taking a few doggie drops.

Took this when I came out of the ER at 1400 yesterday. It wasn't really that hot, just 98.8F.

Today is cleaning lady day, so I'm working on my pre-cleaning lady cleaning. As hot as it is outside, that is not a bad thing.

You guys have a good one,

Larro
