Good morning!!!!

51 F here this morning at 7:30 AM, going to 64 F later today with 10-15 mph winds. Supposed to have a front move through tonight and drop a little rain and the temperature.

Black Friday: I hope all the businesses do well today. I'm a little upset with all the craziness that goes along with BF messing up Thanksgiving celebrations. My two 19 yo twin granddaughters were coming yesterday for Thanksgiving, but cancelled when one got called to go into Best Buy to work. She didn't have to go into work until 5 PM, but we live 80 miles away. By the time she drives here and eats, she'd have to turn around and drive back home to go to work. She needed to get some rest before work because she had to work until 10 PM and then back at 4 AM to open for BF. I guess she should feel lucky to have a job, but we were disappointed, but understanding. You do what you gotta do.:(

These big companies don't care about their employee's or their communities. My wife is in the pet business, and we have refused to work Sundays, since we want to go to church on that day. Petsmart came to town, open 7 days a week, 15 hours per day, making things difficult for those of us who want to attend worship and have time with our families.

It is a good morning, sun is shinning and after about 24 hours of strong wind and rain no trees down on the fences. Of course it is the calm before the storm as another wind and rain storm is coming in tonight and forecast to last till Sunday morning.
Good day to do a few things outside :licking::licking:.

Coffee pot is on. 41 degrees this morning. Head to upper 50's later today. Better enjoy this weather. I am sure the we are going to get some cold weather and snow before long. Going to putter around the shop today. I am sure I can find a project to get started on.
Good Morning All.

47 here, just brewed a pot of Dunkin Donuts Dunkin Dark blend. Went to a second Thanksgiving dinner last night. Have no idea what kind of useless tasks I am going to do today, when you are retired the days pretty much blend into one another, because if you don't do it today there is always tomorrow. Have a great weekend, you guys.

Yesterday started at 30 degrees and COLD!

But the day ws 68 and sunny - AMAZING weather. we ate lunch out on the deck in the sunshine and I went out and tractored for an hour or so.

We made a home cooked 13 lb turkey with my homemade gravy, yukon gold mashed taters and green salad. YUMMY!!!

Today it is only 35 I think, and supposed to be another shockingly nice LATE Nov. day.

I'm going to try hard to really enjoy today.

For the last day or so my collarbone has really been hurting again. Not sure I understand why. All the bruising is fading away but my ribs and collar bone area muscles are just aching. The collar bone itself seems to have knitted together pretty well and it does not move at all. But by 8pm I'm aching and exhausted.

Be well all TBN'ers!
David

Morning all. Had a good Thanksgiving. Actually one of the better ones that I can remember. We had people over again last evening for leftovers and to celebrate my wife's birthday of 57 years. I am now at the point that I do not care if I ever eat again :D. But we do it all over again with Xmas on the 25th, my birthday on the 28th and then New Years.:confused2:
My plan today is to take the FEL off, mount the snow plow belly piece and ready the tractor for snow.
