53 this morning and headed to 83 today.
Go get stitches out of my arm this morning and then come home and play in water. I mean wash feed trays. Maybe it'll have warmed a bit by then. First get supper in crock pot. Taco soup.

Buppies glad your getting rain. The cattle farmers here would like some, but the row croppers don't want any. So far row croppers are winning.

Mostly_G, do you think a bit of clove oil could be added to the EDM fluid to help numb Don's pain? It seemed to work for Dustin Hoffman in Marathon Man. Is it safe? :laughing:
It seems as though your patience has been rewarded with a very nice yacht, Drew. But now we'll all be denied your DIY posts covering a boat renovation.:laughing:
The bit of rain we got last week was enough to let the fire officials cancel many of the evacuations related to the Butte fire south of here, and my buddy is back in his home and shop. He's largely unaffected, but close neighbors lost their homes. He's now planning to brush up his place and take down many trees to improve his survive-ability should the winds change and the still not out fire take another swipe at him.
Spent the weekend at the Quincy fairgrounds 60 miles north of here relaxing with a few hundred motorcycle folk at another rally. Trailered the 1200GS up and put a for sale sign on it, but no bites. Sure was nice to also pack a cooler, big tent, thick mattress, and comfy pillow, and just lounge around bench racing in the shade. Perfect weather, though the temps dropped into the 40s the first night. I laid there shivering not wanting to trudge back to the truck for another blanket, but eventually gave in to the warmth it offered. It was well into the 90s by the next day's afternoon allowing all to thoroughly thaw out. :laughing:

Good start to the week here, the sky is a flawless blue. At the shop now, going home in awhile to do some chores. My wife and I are celebrating 30 years of marriage today. A long strange trip.....

Thanks. I really haven't planned anything special, we went out last weekend to her favorite restaurant. Tonight we will just spend some time together. I am pretty lucky!
