I don't think butane is used any more for domestic use. Is that right?
There is a company in Giddings and all their trucks say "Mass Butane" but they said at one fire class all they carry now is propane.

Come to Europe then! ;-) It is possible to get 100% propane, but for cooking/heating ProBuGas is sold. In warm months the mix has a higher amount of butane, in cold months much more propane.

Good morning. Easy to get up early today as there was no one to share a bed with last night, Julie away for a couple of days catching up with friends. The dog got top job of guarding the house, while my extra duties are to look after the greenhouse. Think Max only missed out on being top gardener because his idea of "watering the plants" doesn't involve the use of a watering can.

Bups, sorry to hear your earlier years in the sun are still getting to you. Admire the way you keep on making light of the delayed punishment.

Being fair skinned, from May onwards, I also hide under the brim of a Tilley that I've had for many years. On hot days I keep dunking the outside into water to gain a bit of evaporative cooling.

The heat is on....summer has arrived, three days in 90's in ten day forecast, 85 today after a morning of dense fog.
Landscapers coming again this morning to do the gravel/ABC crusher run floor in the machinery shed; maybe today the gravel pit will have a machine working to load the stone; that was our downfall several days ago. Meanwhile I hope to be mowing the lawn this morning if it's not too wet out and then after lunch go to the dealer and pick up a check for the car. Expensive decluttering but had to be done. No more car toys....

Rick, I love the tank art, thanks. If I were a real farmer, I think I'd make it into a cucumber or that watermelon!

Good morning all, 62 going to 80 with a 40%--70% chance of showers. Hope to get the last few branches thrown on the truck this morning. Guy is coming from the pool co to find and fix the hole in the pool liner. After that hope to get truck unloaded if I can beat the rain.

Bird, neighbor is having similar problems. Had both corneas replaced, both cataracts removed and now his sight is quickly failing in one eye. Going to Dr soon but he has only one. Praying for you, and your Dr's.

Buppies, Ls, wives and children, prayers sent. Have a great day. Ed

65°F and light rain this morning, going up to 89° today. Some heavier stuff rumbled through the area around rush hour, but mostly went north of us. Neat light show for the drive in, though.

Stopped at Harbor Freight on the way home form work yesterday and swapped out the wrong wheels for the correct ones, and got The Wife's hose cart fixed and mobile again. The ones I bought the first time had the wrong diameter hub. Oddly enough, the ones with the bigger hub and steel wheel rims (the others were plastic) were only 50¢ more each. I hadn't brought any cash into the store with me, and felt weird using my card for a $2.16 charge.

Landscaping contractor was still working when I got home. In fact, they worked until it got dark, hoping to get as much done as they could before the rains moved in today. They are very nearly done with the retaining walls and the stairs. They even got the seed blankets rolled out and staked in place before they left. Progress.

I like the pavers, looks like my front walk, but mine is undulating, not stepped. Very nice!

Looks like 80s with thunderstorms later, we really, really need the rain.
Ellen is coming over for the next few days, works from here on Thursday and Friday and we have plans on the weekend. So I told her to bring her stuff and Gracie the bulldog and just stay a few days.
I’ve got to go up and mow her grass today, visit mom, get the ingredients I forgot at the grocery store yesterday so I can make my BLT pizza tonight. Prayers for those of us that are human and need them.
Have a good day.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 57° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 68° with cloudy skies. Thunderstorms came thru last night keeping dog and me awake for a couple of hours. Maybe a good day to cut lawn. Warm weather has got it growing at a good pace. No other plans for the day.

Drew, I know you are going to put up a fence. But the paint idea is a good one. I mentioned it to my wife. Off she goes to Pintrest. Looking at Propane Tank Art.
This one caught my eye.

Good morning! 64˚ heading to the nineties.

Sprocket for chainsaw came in, installed it, and it's working good now. I need to tree test it today on overhanging limbs on driveway.

Got this email about the ProLon mimicking fasting diet that I have done,. It will be on PBS. Just finished the 3rd and final fasting. (5 days once a month) This is probably the easiest diet since all the right food is provided. It is effective. The weight stays off between fastings and i'm now well within my BMI at 162lbs at 5'10" loosing those 20 pounds that crept up over the last 20 years.

""At American Health Journal, on PBS, we're always on the hunt for medical innovation, transformation and disruption as told by top doctors," says AHJ Global Executive Producer, Michael Lesner.

"Drs. Longo and Antoun have provided us with our first look at a new fast-mimicking diet. Scientifically developed and clinically tested, this nutritional breakthrough was invented at the Longevity Institute at University of Southern California. Amazingly, you eat, but still stay in a beneficial fasting mode and in much greater comfort. We know fasting is good. Now it's enhanced, thanks to these world class doctors."

Look for American Health Journal show times on your local PBS channel starting this month.
To your health,

The ProLon Fasting Mimicking Diet Team"

That's what I was thinking, Don.

that really is fun Ron and if I owned the tank I could really get creative.
Just think, we could all design a mural with lots of tractors on it...
Or....all my tractors lined up looking up at me with a big
ANDIAMO underneath

I can just imagine how much fun my BIL could have with this, if I could get him to do it.
He's the one who did my avatar.
One could make one's propane tank like their family crest, with deer and bunny rabbits on the far side of a secure fence
with apple trees full of apples and great piles of red potatoes.

I'll look at that link tonight Ron, thanks very much.

46 and going to a high of 57 with showers. Wind SSW 14 gusting to 21 mph.

There goes todays game plan. My help is afraid he might melt and wont work in the rain.

I guess I will go look at a new to me vehicle.

Have a good day all

54 outside this AM. Mid eighties today. Road trip for beadboard and bbq on order.
I also am still having issues with a groundhog under my pool house. Seems it moved the traps out of the way. May have to try poison. Not fond of doing that. Cannot get under house for bombs and guns are out of the question due to location.
Hope all have a great day. Be safe and good fortunes to all.
