Good morning. 2C/35F this morning, feeling quite a bit colder thanks to a stiff breeze that has been blowing all night. I can see shadows in the yard, so the sun must have decided to pop out when I came in.
For the last couple of weeks or more I have been putting off making some fence repairs where there are lots of old staples to pull out. I just can't find my fencing pliers anywhere. It's odd as they have always been well behaved in the past and have never gone missing like this before. They usually live in a nice green canvas tool bag with my other fencing tools. Why would they want to leave home ? It's not as though they get mistreated, although I suppose I do bash them on the head with a 20oz hammer occasionally. Maybe they got jealous when I noticed my crimping tool was going rusty and gave it a rub with an oily rag without checking the other tools. My patience is wearing thin, I have given them plenty of time to stop fooling around, this is their last chance to come out of hiding today, or else ...

57 going to 60. Looks like the rain has stopped but the winds are supposed to get up to 30mph.
Eric, I bet if you put a nice warm jar of WD-40 on the counter your pliers will come home.

It is 63 now going to 61 at 1-2 PM. 35 tonight for the low. No Sun all day, little wind.
Came home with a pretty little Blue Tick Hound, not mine. I have never seen that many dogs in one place in my life! And a bunch of breeds I have never heard of, even one that made me think of you Eric. They call them English. There were Coon Dogs, Squirrel Dogs, Deer Dogs, and Bear Dogs, and even more I am sure. And if there is something you want in camo, I am sure someone was selling it.
Glad to be home.
