07-14-2012 Currently 74 degrees. High of 87 expected. We received some good rain yesterday afternoon and some smaller showers during the night. The yard needs mowing now in spots.

As light came up it was clear all we got was a few drops, no visible wetness.

Weather is just normal here, clouds and a little sun. Great...

Unfortunately I didn't have your luck David, I did set my alarm for 7:30AM (as opposed to 5:30AM during the week) but slept through it and awoke at 11AM. Talk about sleeping in!

Anyway, I know the day will be short and that'll depress me (I love awaking early so I can live the day to the fullest) so I'd better just cram as much into it as I can... Not that there is anything really to do, so goodness knows what I'll be able to cram in...

Vacuum maybe ? :laughing:

The tip of my smashed finger has swollen up and turned purple .... today might be time for alternate activities to chucking rocks ....

77 here and humidity on the increase. High mid 80's and possible scattered showers. Hope to get the showers..

Yeah, sure ....

I'm just hoping it will eventually drain on it's own .... and doesn't burst or split open ....

Me mudder took a spill once .... and wound up with one on her knee about the size of a softball .... had to have it operated on to remove it and clean it out .... pretty ugly stuff ....

She was on Coumadin at the time tho' ....

Actually, I've been pretty lucky - haven't broken anything in quite awhile (40+ years) .... and still have all my parts ....

we had about a .25 of a inch of rain in the afternoon.today they said we could get some more showers,the humidity is going up.we have 64 now going up to 83.

Good Morning 75 and foggy getting to the mid nineties with chance of thundershowers. Same as it has been for the last week. Some parts of Texas South, East and West of us have flooded but we are still dusty. Plan on removing and plugging two remaining unused 3/4" PVC lines from my main 2" line to prevent future leaks.

Paver project: Went to pick up 400 pavers that were replacements for the defective cracked pavers. Only 70 of the 400 were un-cracked. Still 400 short and Mexico has stopped production. I may have to use a lot of partial pavers in the compass rose design, which by the way, has been put on hold till the deck company, which will use the drive, replaces my deck. The composition decking deteriorated in 5 years. I got a bad batch.

83 already and sticky, had some scattered sprinkles go past us on both sides early, headed for around 90 with building humidity.
